The Tory Party
#11
They’re Deliberately Destroying Britain – Will the Zombies Ever Wake up?

Before he was demonised and lied about for telling the truth about covid-19, The Observer newspaper described Vernon Coleman as: ‘The calmest voice of reason’.
Back in July I wrote that if the appalling Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister we would be lost for ever. I wrote that I believed Britain would be sucked into the Great Reset at terrifying speed. And I said that Sunak was the deadliest and most dangerous of the motley crew contending for the leadership of the Tory Party and, therefore, the nation.
Now Sunak is Prime Minister – though he received the support of only half of Conservative MPs, he was not the favoured candidate of the Conservative Party members and he was not elected to the position by the British electorate. How the hell did that happen? Do you think I’m being paranoid to suspect that it was all fixed for the Goldman Sachs/WEF candidate to win?
Sunak’s track record is appalling. He said he wouldn’t put up taxes. And then he put up taxes. He wasted £11 billion of taxpayers’ money by paying too much interest on the UK’s debt. He said he hadn’t broken any lockdown laws. But he was fined by the police for breaking lockdown laws. The police said that those breaking lockdown laws were risking a criminal record. Does that mean our new Prime Minister is a criminal?
Politicians used to be lawyers because lawyers used to be the most ruthless liars in any society. Today, many politicians were bankers. Could that possibly be because bankers are more ruthless and bigger liars?
Sunak stuck by Johnson through months of chaos and appalling behaviour. He only jumped ship when it became inevitable that Johnson would have to go. He resigned to save his own skin. Within hours Sunak was being promoted with a flashy video.
Sunak, who was head boy at school, is a former employee of Goldman Sachs – ‘the vampire squid wrapped round the face of humanity’ and in my view the most corrupt, evil bank in world history. Check out its record. And then check out how many other public figures used to work there. Goldman Sachs alumni sometimes seem to control the world.
Sunak had a green card while living in Downing Street – and the green card declared him a permanent resident of the United States. Sunak’s wife minimised paying UK taxes.
The company to which Sunak is linked continued trading with Russia when other companies were forced to abandon their relationships.

What a disgrace: Sunak as Chancellor created the economic catastrophe post-‘Covid’ and now plans economic hell for the population with his WEF-mate Hunt because of the catastrophe that HE caused

Rishi Sunak is preparing sweeping tax rises for years to come for every household in the country, as the PM and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt agree to fill ‘eye-watering’ £50billion black hole through a combination of tax increases and spending cuts.
Mr Sunak and Mr Hunt agreed yesterday it was ‘inevitable’ that all taxpayers will face a higher burden in the coming years.
Their grim assessment came after they decided that soaking the rich and taking an axe to public spending will not be enough to balance the books and protect services, with an estimated £50 billion to be found.
A Treasury source said last night: ‘It is going to be rough. The truth is that everybody will need to contribute more in tax if we are to maintain public services.
‘After borrowing hundreds of billions of pounds through Covid-19 and implementing massive energy bills support, we won’t be able to fill the fiscal black hole through spending cuts alone.’
They added that Mr Sunak and Mr Hunt are committed to protecting the most vulnerable in society during the ‘difficult period’ ahead.
The new Prime Minister and Chancellor, preparing for the crucial Budget on November 17, agreed last week that major cuts must be made to Whitehall departments, signalling a return to the austerity era of a decade ago.
But in another summit yesterday morning, they concluded that tax rises will also be needed across the board.

No – REALLY?: Bonfire of EU laws is now ‘unlikely to take place in 2023’: Government’s pledge to remove up to 4,000 pieces of Brussels-linked legislation faces ‘a three-year delay’

A bonfire of EU laws is unlikely to take place this year as promised, it was claimed last night.
The Government has pledged to remove as many as 4,000 pieces of legislation originating in Brussels by December, after ministers have decided which ones need to be kept or ditched.
However the scale of the task is so great that Whitehall believes it cannot be completed in time, as thousands of officials would be needed to review the detailed regulations. Some departments want the deadline extended until 2026.
The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill is also expected to face fierce opposition when it reaches the House of Lords next month.
One source told The Times: ‘If the object is to review all these regulations properly rather than just cut and paste them into UK law then we’ll need more time.
‘It’s an entirely arbitrary deadline. We’re going to have to make a concession to get it through.’
The likely delay has angered Eurosceptic Tories who are keen for the Government to deliver benefits of Brexit.
It will also be damaging for Rishi Sunak, who vowed in the summer leadership campaign to scrap EU laws in his first 100 days as Prime Minister.
Former business secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg said: ‘There is no reason to give in to the unelected remainers in the House of Lords who have consistently wanted to thwart Brexit.
‘Repealing EU law and replacing it with domestic law seven years after we voted to leave is not especially ambitious and departments ought to be ready to do it.’
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy insisted: ‘The programme to review, revoke and reform retained EU law is under way and there are no plans to change the sunset deadline for any government departments.’

Welcome on board the Westminster gravy train: MPs have raked in £17million from second jobs since 2019 with Theresa May top of the table after earning £2.25million

MPs have raked in more than £17million from second jobs since 2019 on top of their parliamentary salaries, analysis shows today.
Nearly two thirds of the extra earnings went to just 20 MPs, with Theresa May the biggest earner.
Tory politicians took home an extra £15.2million on top of their base £84,144 MP salaries. Frontbencher and part-time radio presenter David Lammy was the highest Labour earner.
From March this year MPs will be banned from taking on work as political or parliamentary consultants – but speeches, TV appearances and legal work will still be fair game.

What happens in politics when you tell the truth – Schwab gofer Sunak leads condemnation of Tory MP who says ‘Covid’ fake vaccine is ‘the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust’: Andrew Bridgen is suspended and warned he may have ‘blood on his hands’ by a party guilty of mass murder of UK citizens

Andrew Bridgen has had the Conservative Party whip removed after having “crossed a line” in his criticism of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The North West Leicestershire MP has been increasingly vocal in remarks questioning the coronavirus vaccine.
On Wednesday he tweeted an article on vaccines, adding: “As one consultant cardiologist said to me, this is the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust.”
Chief whip Simon Hart said: “Andrew Bridgen has crossed a line, causing great offence in the process.
“As a nation, we should be very proud of what has been achieved through the vaccine programme. The vaccine is the best defence against Covid that we have.
“Misinformation about the vaccine causes harm and costs lives. I am therefore removing the whip from Andrew Bridgen with immediate effect, pending a formal investigation.”
Tory MP Michael Fabricant welcomed the decision, adding that his former colleague will have “blood on his hands” if his comments stop people public getting vaccinated.
“If this deters people from being vaccinated and causes deaths as a direct consequence, he’ll have blood on his hands. His tweets are wholly irresponsible.”
Earlier, former Cabinet minister Simon Clarke had condemned Mr Bridgen’s tweet referring to the Holocaust, calling it “disgraceful”.
Quote:Highly irresponsible and wholly inappropriate. https://t.co/JEWTFte1Zb
— Karen Pollock (@KarenPollock100) January 11, 2023

Karen Pollock, chief executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, called the comments “highly irresponsible and wholly inappropriate”.
Mr Bridgen is currently suspended from the Commons after he was found to have displayed a “very cavalier” attitude to the rules in a series of lobbying breaches.
MPs agreed at the start of the week to suspend Mr Bridgen for five sitting days from Tuesday.
Labour MP Christian Wakeford, formerly a Conservative, had also hit out at the North West Leicestershire MP over his comments.
Reacting to the removal of the whip, he said: “About time but it should have gone well before this.”

Tories HOLD ON to Boris’s old seat after backlash at Sadiq Khan’s hated ULEZ plan: Labour panic as ‘war on drivers’ crashes Uxbridge hopes

Labour hit the panic button on ULEZ today after Sadiq Khan’s hated plan saved Rishi Sunak from the historic shame of a triple by-election defeat.
Frontbenchers warned Keir Starmer will need to look again at the plans to expand the driver charging zone after failing to take Uxbridge & South Ruislip.
The London Mayor was branded the ‘loser of the night’ after the Tories unexpectedly clung on to Boris Johnson’s old seat by 500 votes.
However, the wider picture for Mr Sunak was grim – with the alarming sight of Labour comfortably overturning a massive majority to gain the former stronghold of Selby & Ainsty.
The Conservatives were also trounced by the Liberal Democrats in Somerton & Frome as their 19,000-vote margin from the last general election crumbled.
Amid mounting signs of a Lib-Lab electoral pact to boost their chances in target seats, Ed Davey’s party lost its deposit in Selby while Sir Keir’s suffered the same fate in Somerton.
The Tories’ new Uxbridge MP Steve Tuckwell admitted his victory was down to the unpopularity of ULEZ. Labour frontbenchers said the party must now ‘reflect’ on the policy.
Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner said ‘there is no getting away from’ the fact that ULEZ was ‘the major issue’. She warned people ‘can’t afford’ the levy amid the cost of living crisis – but blamed the government for failing to fund a scrappage scheme.
‘The Uxbridge result shows that when you don’t listen to the voters, you don’t win elections,’ she said.
Pollsters suggested the outcome has implications for swing seats near London such as Harlow and Thurrock.
There is speculation that Mr Sunak could carry out a reshuffle soon to try and move on from the body blows – although No10 has signalled it will not be today.
After being declared the by-election winner after a recount of votes, Mr Tuckwell said: ‘This message from Uxbridge and South Ruislip residents is clear; Sadiq Khan has lost Labour this election and we know it was his damaging and costly ULEZ policy that lost them this election.’
The Tory victory in Uxbridge means Mr Sunak escapes becoming the first PM for 55 years – since Labour’s Harold Wilson in 1968 – to lose three seats at by-elections on the same day.
But the bad results in Somerton and Selby will rattle Tory MPs already worried about their chances of keeping Labour out of power at the general election, which is expected next year.
A Labour source pointed to Selby and Ainsty being a ‘true blue’ Tory seat near to Mr Sunak’s own constituency.
The victory was the largest Conservative majority overturned by Labour at a by-election since 1945, after the Tories won the seat with a 20,000-vote majority at the 2019 general election.
The previous record was set at the Mid Staffordshire by-election in March 1990, when Labour overturned a Tory majority of 14,654.
The source said Labour’s win showed ‘colossal progress’ and was a ‘real disaster’ for the Tories.
They claimed a similar swing to Labour across constituencies at the general election would give them more House of Commons seats than they won under Tony Blair in 1997.
Sir Keir said: ‘This is an historic result that shows that people are looking at Labour and seeing a changed party that is focused entirely on the priorities of working people with an ambitious, practical plan to deliver.
