What is so special about Hemp/Cannabis?

Hemp uses about 90% less water than cotton to achieve a crop with great clothing/material purposes. It has MANY medical uses in addition to what Steve has mentioned. Hemp is very effective, whilst growing, of air purification (including Co2/o2 balance) and because of the speed of growth can be as effective as ancient forests.
Hemp has been used at least twice to manufacture cars, once by Henry Ford (there is a video of him trying to break it with a hammer) and also by Lotus.
Hemp seeds contain all essential vitamins/minerals/proteins & oils (and in suitable quantities in relation) necessary for humans to thrive, even if this was the only food source. It can also grow almost anywhere on earth so is a good food source in starving regions and needs next to no chemicals. Hence it can be an environmentally friendly, organic crop.
Waxes, cosmetics, rope, string, lubricants....anesthetic, antibacterial....the list goes on.
It's also quite interesting, and saddening, how 'marijuana' got it's name and the history of its' criminalisation in the US.

It also contains essential cannabinoids required to supplement our endocannabinoid system!

Steve, I have only recently found colloidal silver (We use True Amber) but wow. I would definitely recommend research into using this if required, although it is not inexpensive.
I have not yet turned blue!

It's my opinion that cannabis is made illegal because of its medicinal properties that would hit the profits of big pharma if it was legalised, but Im not sure about colloidal silver. How do we know that there are no long term health problems caused by it. Have there been any studies into it?
