Hi All,

We're just getting close to launching an all new Richie Allen website, this will happen at some point in the next week it looks like.

One small issue is with the forums. We have the option of building a forum into the site itself allowing for one single logon which would also enable us to bring in new community features in the future. The problem with this is that the information from this forum would not be able to migrate to the new system.

This leaves us with a couple of options that we wanted to put to you guys to get your thoughts on this because, after all, this is YOUR Richie Allen Forum.

Let us know what you think.

PLEASE, RICHIE, DO NOT CLOSE THIS FORUM OR TAKE IT OFFLINE!!

There are hundreds -- perhaps thousands -- of unique articles and comments posted in this forum.

Collectively, these forum threads represent THOUSANDS of hours of research by independent Richie Allen contributors.

The existing threads -- unique articles, and the comments and discussions that have ensued from them over weeks, months, and years -- are wholly irreplaceable!!!

Much of the information contained therein exists nowhere else, or at least not in one place.

The information contained in this forum could be lost forever if this forum and its current contents were to be cast off or deactivated.

PLEASE, RICHIE ALLEN -- KEEP THIS FORUM ONLINE AND READABLE FOR THE PUBLIC!

Or, at the very least, please archive ALL of the existing threads (ALL of the posts and the ensuing conversations between users) -- including the existing organisation and the formatting -- before you deactivate this forum and/or launch a new one.

Yours sincerely,

A Richie Allen fan and long-time user of the forum.
