Thoughts on the Matrix films, is it close to a reality we live in? I think the first movie touched on some amazing topics relevant to us. The other 2 films im not too sure. Its something quoited so often and im interested in your thoughts...
I need to watch the first one again. I'll be honest, I saw it at the cinema when it came out and didn't really enjoy it. I've never been a huge fan of Keanu Reeves so maybe that was why. Or maybe my mind was closed at the time.

I've heard so much about it in these circles since that I will have another look at it. What do you like about it OP - and what should I be looking out for?
the first was a fantastic movie. a bit dated now tho. the sequels were horrendous. made no sense what so ever. the only people that understood those movie were people too stupid to understand those movies if you know what I mean.
Morpheus in The Matrix movie encapsulates the Stockholm syndrome when he said:

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you’re inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Stokholm Syndrome is ‘A psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and have positive feelings towards their captures, sometimes to the point of defending them.’

We see this all the time with human slaves defending The System which holds them in slavery. As the saying goes ... ‘They piss on us and we say it’s raining.’ Stockholm Syndrome is the stablemate of cognitive dissonance.
Here, here. I find this everyday when talking to people, especially with my older family (fully immersed in the 'government is here to help us' mindset) . There is an almost visible barrier that raises when i try talking about non-MSM subjects which is very frustrating.
The movie (1st) raises the question of choice over servitude (red pill/blue pill) but the majority of people do not see any choice in the way they live.
I often get told why i CAN'T go 'off-grid' or even live a less than 'normal' life. Sorry if i don't use fluoride or refuse to use social media and watch little TV, refuse to buy into mass consumerism or look up to our stripey skies in horror. I look at the world differently from you.
I don't know what colour pill i took!
I would recommend Mark Passio's presentation 'decoding the matrix' for an in depth look at the occult meaning of the trilogy. The quality is a bit poor and some people find his presentation style a bit difficult, but his occult knowledge is second to none.

Decoding the matrix

Hi Matt,
I am familiar with Mark and agree with you there. It goes to show the depth at which this encoding takes place as most viewers of this film see it as pure fiction, whereas perhaps, it should be seen as an education resource!
Styleezy, have to admit i thought it was pure fiction when i first watched them. Its only waking up years later that i realised there was more to it. The first movie is pretty easy to decode as an allegory for waking up. The next two films are a bit more difficult and allegories for the structures of secret societies and the zionist agenda.
I found Mark Passio's work instramental in waking up and think his Natural Law seminar on you tube is a must for anyone. Would be a great guest for Richie.
I second that... Mark Passio great potential guest on the Richie Allen show... are you listening Monsier Allen??
