Hi Steve
I am also a parent and grandparent or as the Greeks called a Pater or paterer and know the very reason why the aforementioned quote wanted the students to be children, this is because children have slate clear minds and can with a little practice actually begin think for themselves, and react to their natural surroundings, However this trait is needed in order to educate them in ways of anothers way of thinking or doing things and how things might be, before they become truly aware of the world around them and pick up the bad traits of destructivness towards their immediate environment.
That world was corrupted a very long time ago and once these new stars or Young-sters have been tainted it is paramount that they be educated before their own true light begins to shine brightly, thereafter it is nigh on impossible to deprograme them from any destructive traits, like religious dogma and one of the many scenes which are nearly all of suffering. Like the Jews coming out of Egypt and the desert scene/ parable, which is the same model as someone being programmed, it simply cannot be achieved once there minds eye has winessed these kinds of traits and those traits remain with them for life.
In this short film clip that minds eye is witnessed by a child talking as if her eyes could speak, where the recipient is not much more than a child now in isolation himself, clearly saw in his minds eye,

However, if children are brought up in isolation away from society which has been witnessed on a few occasions, those children are not the same spiritually as normal interactive children, they are far more loving and have unique traits that hanker back to a time when the world in which we lived was far more peaceful.
It is a time when there were also far less people to bump into and the majority of interaction was with nature on the whole and natures mechanics like loyalty to each and another for life, here is the naturl marriage vows in plain sight, which was due to far less numbers and what were around were cherished more and vital for survival.
If you ever watch the garden birds, never do you see the bluetits ganging up on a blackbird because it flew across the same air space, but you do see the blackbirds ganging together to sound the warning when a cat comes into the garden, not to try and kill it but to warn off the others of its precense, nature is far more adapt at survival without destructiveness than humans are today, without needing to kill to be safe from possible harm.
Another scenario I often use in conversation is the African river crossing where multitudes of wilderbeast take their chance in great numbers to cross the river where their prey are lying in waiting, but those prey do not want to catch every single wilderbeast and have a refridgerated process plant waiting nearby to cull, process and store every animal, that would be a modern human trait not a natural one of take only what one needs model.
A world without war would be one of people living alongside/closer to true nature, now that would sound Draconian to most now living in modernity, where scenes of living in a cave come to mind, but it need not be like this but with everything we have now, but involve far less conflict and a greater level of practicality, using their own hand to eye coordination and as many different tools for life to work with, If we could regain control of our children from the current corrupt system that only sees them as future profits for the "Rudest Amongst Society" who continually get us to care for the children, and then take them away to die like young boys killing flies or bugs from under a stone, with a few changes along these lines things would eventually rite themselves.
When I did my own student training program never once did we bring up the subject of religion or nationality, creed or colour of which there were different nationalities invoved, instead we concentrated upon using our own hand to eye coordination as well as our problem solving instincts, no longer had we got under way with our tasks set out by myself did the students levels of awareness come to the fore, some were very rusty indeed and a few were far more able to complete the tasks like simple filing and drilling of the materials, to far more complicated tasks like woodturning a round wooden cylinder freehand. There was a metalwork lathe available but this would take away the feelings from our hand to eye attributes, yes it would make the work perfectly smooth and straight, but remove the ability to feel the natural grain and quality of the timbers in question.
For a more peaeceful world with a minimum level of conflict it would be neccessary for about 40% percent of the population to refuse to fight for freedom and work for it instead, by becomming creators of useful objects, not destructive machinery, which I know is true having done extensive training in other fields, where they worked with many different materials, metal, wood, leather, even plastics, when thier hands were busy concentrating they were at one with themselves and thoughts of conflict never entered the room.
The key that fits the lock is not trying to reducate the adults, for many of them it is already too late, but to give the children a better start from the very beginning, one that is of self awareness through practical training, which will set then on a much more peaceful path and journey, this is why we must get control of our young before too much more damage is done.
What the elite are now gearing towards is a complete control of a run away machine and their way of doing this is to remove all of our natural instincts gained over thousands of years, instincts which their old testament have orientated and now going to backfire on them and the rest of society in the process, if left unchequed for too much longer, but what we may or I would say will loose is our links to the earth and our full awareness of how things might be if we simply took control of our immedite envirnoments and those now creating the problems, basiclly we will have to take back our own children and educate them differently, but leave the natural instinct intact otherwise they will be easy prey for the hawks amongst society, that are always going to be there, searching for an easy target.
To wake up we must become aware of our immediate environment, and not as lazy as we have been taught to be.
