Internet giants such as Google, Facebook and Microsoft are creations of the Elite. They are government surveillance and data-gathering agencies under another name and Facebook uses software to scan private communications for what it calls ‘key words’ that can cause them to alert the authorities. Facebook posts are ruthlessly censored and they use algorithms to negatively affect the traffic to and from pages that challenge their hidden agendas. Their misleading and contrived image of ‘we’re your friend’, ‘it’s all cool, man’ is a cover to snoop and for continually looking over your shoulder.
This seems to be happening more and more in all western countries.
I think the initial "pop round for a chat" by the police is used as a warning.
The police officers know full well that they cannot do anything about what was said, as it would be a civil matter if it was libel or slander,
But as it was the council that was involved, the councillor has probably leaned on the police chief to help him out and the officers are just following orders
I have read a lot of stories of this happening in the past couple of years and it does seem to be increasing.
I don't really get why people feel the need to go on Facebook to have a rant in the first place.
Who are their target audience?
They surely would have already told their friends and family the story so why go on Facebook to rant?
Don't get me wrong, I don't condone what the police have done and the guy was right to tell them to caution, arrest him, or leave.
This just re-iterates to me that people need to seriously wake up to the fact that Facebook is not what it seems.
The censorship and banning of CERTAIN POSTS on Facebook is out of control. I will NO longer participate in this obvious and "in your face" obstruction of FREE SPEECH! I Deactivated my FB Account. I only hope that more people will take a stand and do the same. Thank you, Richie, for giving me a safe place to VENT my frustrations...I WILL be back!
The corruption in the police and indeed most institutions is staggering. In the police in particular this goes from top to bottom. I know 2 recently retired police people very well and some of the things they have told me. Also just watch the UK Column for police corruption

yes, the corruption definitely gets much worse the higher up the ladder you go.
I know a few constables, and generally they want to do their job of policing and protecting the population but it is their bosses that prevents them from doing their job.
Over ten years ago I had to do some work in NI for a supermarket looking into stock loss etc and our "guide' so to speak who worked as an advisor to the supermarket was a retired ex police chief of NI. He educated me quite a lot regarding corruption in the force and basically told me that out of all the police chiefs in the Uk, and I am guessing that there must be at least 40, he said that there were 4 of them that he would trust. That was approx. 12 years ago and it sure has got a lot worse.
The amount of  people leaving the police force at the lower level is staggering

A member of the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador's security team went to warn a man about his tweets, and killed him. I won't have a FB, Twitter, et. al. accounts.

Our police are under several internal investigations by outside forces. Same old song and dance.
This is my first post, hope it worked. I'm not much for joining anything, but I am glad to be here.
