only know ed sheeran through that weird ongoing joke/collaboration with rupert grint, and the last bridget jones movie. lol have to agree, i think? seems a bit unfair! lol
i finally heard the johnny cash song about a boy named sue today, thanks to richie. after a lifetime of hearing references to it.
there was another that caught my ear, too... i think he said it was primal scream. dunno the title. but it sounded so familiar, was wondering if it was ever sampled by anyone (back in the '90s, when rap was good).
thanks for the compliment! as more join, i predict at least one other person will post here eventually.
oh, that reminds me! how could i have forgotten richie's own cover version of blame it on the boogie by the jacksons?! now: blame it on the kremlin.
still makes me laugh just thinking about it...

yes, amy gets a lot of play on the show. love is a losing game is my absolute fave of hers though. i was SO pleased that night.
blame it on the kremlin was in the last month or two. since the youtube ban and resurgence. i want to say it was around easter, but i'm probably totally wrong. if i can find it, i'll come back and post the date.
did you hear the 3 seconds of beatboxing he did yesterday? lol and improvised german-to-english rap lyrics? so funny!

i also love the virtue signalling countdowns, too, with led zeppelin (pretty sure) in the background. he did another of those recently.

i found it! it's within the first 5 minutes, so may as well just play it from the start and get the context. (it was the 14th of march, which was hardly/not really easter at all.)
