Thanks giro-jedi for recommending Ireland, Land of the Pharaohs. As I'm a Brit living in the Irish Republic who has English, Irish and Welsh ancestry and as I also love history it looks fascinating. I'll definitely check that one out.

Among my favourite writers are Aldous Huxley, John Grisham, Anne Tyler, George Orwell, Minette Walters, Ruth Rendell and Robert Goddard. And also agree with Liz about Charlotte's Web. I re-read it a few years ago and still cried my eyes out. Love Cary Grant films and anything with dance in especially Fred and Ginger films. Love loads of different sorts of music, classical, jazz, motown, disco, world music, meditation music, techno, trance and more.
