I'm really uncomfortable with some of the - h9ighly questionable predictions and assertions some of the guests make. Last night I was very angered by Max Egan glibly predicting "a Revolution " and then qualifying  it with "No Doubt About it". A Revolution in the West is HIGHLY UNLIKELY as we are NOT at the sharp end  sort of circumstances that initiate a Revolution -  and secondly a Revolution would be a terribly messy and dangerous affair. If it were to happen social infrastructure and health services would be compromised as well as civil disorder, violence, indincriminate lawlessness and casualties caused by "both sides". It's not something to bandy about lightly like it's a slightly lively  "football match". It might be more like an  influx of  Football Hooliganism that never stops. 

I was also reminded of ANOTHER interview in the spring who FEARLESSLY and SHAMELESSLY - without QUALIFICATION - predicted a Nuclear Exchange within Ten Days - and as far as I am aware had not done anything to address his utterly outrageous and irresponsible hysterical nonesense. I'm all for people saying their opinion but this CANT go on.  Some of these interviewees are ECCENTRIC in their announcements are BEST - and while they are ENTITLED to their opinion - how are we supposed to ask other people to take our concerns seriously when such loose talk and shoddy proclamation are being made on our main vehicle of expression ? This is NOT an attack on Richie- he is an extraordinary figurehead of the Alternative News Media - msybe UNIQUE in his ability to bring sobriety and balance to some extremely controversial issues where validation is Hard to Establish. But I can't support this histrionic talk of western revolutions and itchy finger predictions of imminent nuclear strikes. Last night I was so angry I wrote some very angry posts about this  which I have in the cold light of day I have removed as I am not proud of them. I apologuse to Max Egan or Richie if they ssw them and to anyone ekse unlucky enough to cstch them in the few hourd they were up . But PLEASE understand - this business of "awakening" and becoming informed is very important to me - and I feel these lapses in credulity are extremely harmful to us taking OURSELVES seriously as well as expecting others to do so. We can't lapse into histrionic hystericism. There's too much at stake .
