The EU parliament just announced a decision that's causing the fraudulent climate change narrative to self-destruct. "EU parliament backs labeling gas and nuclear investments as green," reads a Reuters headline from yesterday. "The European Parliament on Wednesday backed EU rules labeling investments in gas and nuclear power plants as climate-friendly."

The fraudulent, junk science narrative of "climate change" has caused western nations (including the USA) to dismantle much of their fossil fuel infrastructure over the last 20 years.

Suddenly, European nations are panicking to try to rebuild their energy infrastructure. But since they've officially blocked most funding for non-green energy projects, the only way to get funds to rebuild fossil fuel infrastructure is to declare fossil fuels to be "green."

Never forget that the "green" movement is part of the globalist depopulation agenda to starve billions of human beings to death while collapsing economies around the world.

Much like in the Netherlands, Justin Trudeau is bringing in a nitrogen emissions cap that will absolutely decimate Canadian farming.

In December 2020, the Trudeau government unveiled their new climate plan, with a focus on reducing nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizer by 30% below 2020 levels by 2030.
“Fertilizers play a major role in the agriculture sector’s success and have contributed to record harvests in the last decade. They have helped drive increases in Canadian crop yields, grain sales, and exports,” a news release from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada reads.

“However, nitrous oxide emissions, particularly those associated with synthetic nitrogen fertilizer use have also grown significantly. That is why the Government of Canada has set the national fertilizer emissions reduction target, which is part of the commitment to reduce total GHG emissions in Canada by 40-45% by 2030….”
This is a tacit admission that any attempt to lower admissions by reducing nitrogen fertilizer will consequently lower crop yields over the next decade, hurting the Agriculture sector and, more importantly, hurting farmers.

And indeed, according to a report from Fertilizer Canada:
Total Emission Reduction puts a cap on the total emissions allowable from fertilizer at 30% below 2020 levels. As the yield of Canadian crops is directly linked to proper fertilizer application this creates a ceiling on Canadian agricultural productivity well below 2020 levels….
It is estimated that a 30% absolute emission reduction for a farmer with 1000 acres of canola and 1000 acres of wheat, stands to have their profit reduced by approximately $38,000 – $40,500/ annually.

In 2020, Western Canadian farmers planted approximately 20.8 million acres of canola. Using these values, cumulatively farm revenues from canola could be reduced by $396M – $441M on an annual basis. Wheat famers could experience a reduction of $400M.
Moreover, Fertilizer Canada doesn’t believe that forcibly decreasing fertilizer use will even lower greenhouse gases but could lead to carbon leakage elsewhere.
Nonetheless, Trudeau’s government is moving forward, with farmer’s groups speaking to Farmers Forum now wondering if he’s intentionally trying to cause a food shortage — which Trudeau previously told Canadians to prepare for.

Patrick Vallance has warned MPs that the world is about to be plunged into even deeper turmoil than it was during the Covid pandemic because of the impact of climate change.
The government’s chief scientific adviser gave an emergency briefing to 70 parliamentarians this week, warning of the dangers of the climate crisis and urging them to act.
He was joined by Prof Stephen Belcher from the Met Office, Prof Emily Shuckburgh, from Cambridge Zero and Prof Gideon Henderson, the chief scientific adviser at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. All of them showed MPs slides – like the ones they perhaps became used to during the Covid lockdowns – which can be seen in full on this link.
Vallance warned MPs: “We’ve had two and a half years of a global crisis in the form of a pandemic. We face 50 years of really big problems relating to climate, and that nature of that threat to countries around the world means that this has to be one of the things that has to be on every government’s agenda. There is no way we can pretend it isn’t happening.”
While the scientists made no political recommendations, as they were there simply to present the science, they told MPs that action is needed now to stop the worst effects of the climate emergency.
“To give three observational facts … the world is warmer than it was, the CO2 levels in the atmosphere are higher than they have ever been, and extreme weather events are more common than before all this happened. That’s what we face, and the aim of this briefing is to speak about the science,” Vallance said.

The UK Met Office, a notorious peddler of climate change propaganda, is front and center warning of “extreme heat” over the next few days, declaring it to be a “national emergency.”
To others, however, it’s known as the middle of July, or summer.

All orchestrated: Government Advises Working From Home During Heatwave as Unions Demand Legal Right to Stop Working at 25°C – heading for climate lockdowns

The next few days of forecast high temperatures “may be a moment to work from home” a senior Government minister said on Saturday as unions grabbed the opportunity to demand the right to stop working if temperatures hit, er, 25°C. The Telegraph has more.
Cabinet Office Minister Kit Malthouse has warned that road and rail faced “significant disruption” due to the heatwave as he urged people to avoid travelling on Monday and Tuesday.
Number 10 also warned schools against closing because of the risk that unsupervised children could come to harm in the scorching temperatures.
Senior ministers and officials met as part of the Government’s emergency Cobra committee ahead of a 48-hour period in which temperatures are expected to clear 104°F (40°C) in parts of England.
Mr. Malthouse said: “Obviously, the transport providers are messaging people that they should only travel if they really need to on Monday and Tuesday.
“Services are going to be significantly affected. The heat will affect rails, for example, so the trains have to run slower. There may be fewer services. People need to be on their guard for disruption. If they don’t have to travel, this may be a moment to work from home.”
Mr. Malthouse said steps have been taken to ensure hospitals and ambulances that may come under pressure were prepared.
Schools were also issued with guidance to enable them to remain open. One official said: “It is better for kids to be supervised in that sort of weather. There is a risk that if kids are off school they won’t be supervised and there is more risk they will come into contact with rivers and lakes and there are vulnerable kids who will be left completely alone.” [And for their education?]
Union bosses are calling for workers to have the day off if conditions exceed 25°C, and for employers  to provide sun cream, hats with neck covers and more breaks to reduce the risk of heatstroke.
GMB Union, which represents over 50,000 workers, has demanded that a legal maximum working temperature be imposed in all working environments across the country, and suggested that if bosses fail to provide cool enough conditions, workers should walk out.

Why can’t the Met Office just tell us the weather, instead of spreading alarm and scolding us with doom-laden lectures? Because it has been long co-opted and absorbed by the Climate Cult, a creation of the Global Cult. Simple, really

When I was a child, the TV weather forecasts were based around a map to which magnetic symbols, usually denoting fog or slanting rain, would be attached.
When the weather did improve, it was always cheering to see childish little yellow sun images suddenly slapped on to our bit of the UK.
At such times the weather forecaster might suggest it was time to ask Dad to pump up the paddling pool or get out his Panama hat.
How things have changed. These days, the Met Office sees its role to spread only alarm and nowhere is this new approach more evident than in the way its weather maps are presented.
When it comes to communicating hot summer weather, gone are the jolly yellow magnets of my childhood to be replaced by a blood-red stain, like the sort of graphic used in a fear-mongering documentary about the prospect of nuclear war which plots the spread of the fallout.

Thousands will die, warned the Met Office, as it yesterday issued its first ever ‘Red warning’. And in doing so it set the tone for a funereal chorus that was taken up by its counterparts elsewhere.
Train tracks will buckle, said the spokesperson from Network Rail. Runways will melt, argued the man in the air traffic control tower. And hospitals will be ‘really, really pushed’, according to the boss of the NHS Confederation.
Anyone who says anything that flies in the face of this doom-laden agenda is immediately shouted down.
Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab had the temerity to suggest that, while the country should take sensible precautions in the face of a potentially record-breaking scorcher, we ought to be resilient enough to ‘enjoy the sunshine’.

"Sabotage Joe" is reportedly planning on declaring a climate emergency and invoking executive orders that would plunge America into Third World status, with near-total economic collapse.

Biden's proposed executive orders would ban all oil extraction from ocean waters off the coast of America, halt energy exports and imports and even halt Permian Basin operations which supply a huge portion of America's oil.

The entire economy would grind to a halt, and the power grid would fail while transportation would collapse. No food in grocery stores, no agriculture operations, no transportation and no trains would run.
It would be the total collapse of America, which is exactly what the climate cultists want to achieve.

Climate Alarmists Turn Up the Heat as Temperature Records Broken at British Airports

The climate Thermageddonites got their U.K. heat record of 40°C in the end, courtesy of a measuring device in Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The BBC noted on Radio 4 last night that the record temperature arose in the “village” but co-ordinates on the Met Office site place the device halfway down the runway at RAF Coningsby, home of two squadrons of frontline, combat ready squadrons and a training base for Typhoon pilots. In joint second place, perhaps to nobody’s great surprise, was Heathrow, one of the busiest airports in the world.
The last two days in England were very hot, probably the hottest for over 100 years, although the possible distortions caused by urban heat (and jet afterburners!) need to be taken into account in the surface record. On the Radio 4 late news, BBC meteorologist Ben Rich explained that the heat was caused by southerly winds bringing hot air from the Sahara. The wind direction then changed to the west, and by the time he spoke on Tuesday evening, the rain was falling in London and the temperature had plunged 20°C. This of course was the sound scientific reason for the high temperatures, although science was laid to one side at the end when Rich said it “feels like a tipping point”.
In a similar emotional outburst, the serial Covid lockdown campaigner Piers Morgan told his audience on TalkTV that if we are not very careful, “we are heading for an apocalypse”. Also signed onto the apocalypse theme was London Mayor Sadiq Khan. He pulled the ‘things were much colder in the old days’ line, by telling Nick Robinson on Wednesday’s Today programme that when he was growing up, “you had heatwaves every 20 years”.

Cult-Owned US climate envoy John Kerry sends warning to UK’s next Cult-owned prime minister

US climate envoy John Kerry has issued a warning to the next prime minister that the commitment to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 cannot be compromised.
While both Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, the two candidates vying to replace Boris Johnson, are committed to the net-zero target some Government climate policies came in for questioning among the Tory contenders in the early stages of the contest.
The Foreign Secretary has said she will pause green levies on domestic energy bills, while Mr Sunak has pledged to keep the ban on building new onshore wind farms, but wants to introduce a legal target to make Britain energy self-sufficient by 2045 by overseeing a massive expansion in offshore turbines.
Mr Kerry told BBC Radio 4’s The World This Weekend programme he did not want to become embroiled in the leadership contest.
