I tend not to donate any more because I can’t guarantee the money goes to help anyone! We’ve been giving donations to starving kids in Africa since I was a kid ... I’d rather save up the money & go there & distribute it personally! I tend to now give charity to those closer to home such as a homeless person in the street or homeless shelters or collection boxes for kids in our community or even doing things like making up shoe boxes for shoebox appeal / homeless appeal!
I feel bad that the children in other countries are suffering... I actually feel pain for them but it’s corruption not the lack of charity! Humans are inherently kind & want to help but no matter what you give it won’t solve the problem because it’s by design!
