When unemployment prevails, they never stand in line looking for a job.
When deprivation results from a confused welfare system, they never do without food or clothing, or a place to sleep.
When the public schools are inferior or torn by strife their children go to exclusive private schools.
And when the bureaucracy is bloated and confused, the powerful always manage to discover and occupy niches of special influence and privilege.
All of these things we can in many ways do for ourselves, and the time to begin was yesterday, what many tend to forget is, that it is our labour that is the most valuable commodity of all, a commodity that we all take with us upon our shoulders and a fact that is encouraging the elite to use our mind set to invent devices with which to replace us.
In many ways we are our own worst enemy by acquiesing to this model and a form of indirect violence and self degredation, its not what one might want to hear but its true in many ways.
The way forward is to re-skill now, first for the individual and secondly to share those skills, because if we cannot fend for ourselves we are of no use to anyone else.
Perhaps something along the lines of the ideas presented by Michael Tellinger?
