“Every Bit as Bad and Biased as Feared”: A Review of the BBC’s “Unvaccinated”

Before this programme was screened on July 20th 2022, promotional material from the BBC and in newspaper articles such as this suggested it was going to be extremely biased and inaccurate.

Based on this publicity material we already wrote articles first criticising the claim that only 8% of the U.K. adult population was unvaccinated and then highlighting the fact that the publicity material failed to reveal the blatant conflicts of interest of the key ‘experts’ used in the programme to convince the seven unvaccinated participants to get vaccinated.
Our pre-screening articles and tweets about the forthcoming programme were very widely read and one of the participants, Nazarin, contacted us to express her serious concerns about the way the programme was made – and how it might be edited – and to confirm that the participants were indeed not informed of the experts’ conflicts of interest (this is covered well in this article by threadsirish). Her subsequent tweets, such as the following, made clear her extreme concerns about the programme even before it was screened.

Official figures published by the UK Government prove that the British public is being lied to about the effectiveness of the Covid-19 injections, and the true number of people who have refused them.
If you rewind to December 2021, you may remember an infamous headline published by Andrew Neil for the Daily Mail that read – ‘It’s time to punish Britain’s five million vaccine refuseniks: They put us all at risk of more restrictions’.
The BBC has also been peddling a similar narrative. In July 2022, they announced the release of an “eye-opening” documentary that allegedly sought to find out why “8% of the population remain unvaccinated against Covid-19”.
Andrew Neil’s headline and the BBC’s #Unvaccinated documentary are both beautiful examples of how you have been lied to since the very beginning of the alleged Covid-19 pandemic.
Because according to the UK Government, 18.9 million people in England who are eligible for vaccination still remain unvaccinated. That equates to 30% of the eligible population, and 50% of the country has refused the third dose.

Open Letter to Therese Coffey Urging Her to Apologise to the Care Workers Forced Out by Fake Vaccine Mandate

Campaign group Together’s latest campaign, an Open Letter to Health Secretary Therese Coffey urging her to “Apologise, Reinstate, Compensate the 40,000 Care Workers Forced Out by Covid Jab Mandate” has attracted over 10,000 signatures within a few hours of going live. Here is an extract:
Forcing out approximately 40,000 social care workers for declining the Covid jab was not just unethical, but disastrous for the care sector and those it supports. The sector now has 165,000 vacancies, with 500,000 members of the public waiting for assessments, care or reviews. The situation is grave and urgent, not least as without a functioning care sector the NHS will collapse.
Failure to respect bodily autonomy was wrong in principle. ‘No jab, no job’ amounted to blackmail. But even on a practical level, the ‘mandate’ policy was always illogical and ill-advised.
For starters, natural immunity was totally ignored as a factor – for reasons that remain unclear. Throughout most of 2021 it was clear that Covid jabs did not prevent transmission and by October, the Guardian was explicitly reporting that ‘research reveals fully vaccinated people are just as likely to pass (the) virus on… whether an infected individual is themselves fully vaccinated or unvaccinated makes little or no difference to how infectious they are to their household contacts’. This alone should have been enough to kill off this divisive policy. Yet, seemingly oblivious to the actual scientific data, your predecessor Sajid Javid took to television the same month, belligerently ‘warning’ care workers ‘if you cannot be bothered to go and get vaccinated then get out… go and get another job.’
On November 9th 2021, the Department of Health and Social Care warned Javid that his ‘mandate’ policy would result in upwards of 40,000 care staff leaving the sector. He persisted with it anyway, and on 11 November workers who had not already been forced out were sacked in droves. Many lost not only their jobs, but also their pensions.

IN October last year, seven months after then Prime Minister Boris Johnson set out his plans for ‘living with Covid’, my long-term home rental came to an end. I came across an ad for a ‘spare room’ which sounded perfect as a temporary solution.

My potential landlord seemed very nice. He showed me the ‘self-contained’ mini flat on the top floor of his and his wife’s house and told me that whilst I would have my own space up there I’d be sharing a front door, kitchen and lounge with my landlords – their bedroom was in the basement. I wasn’t overly happy with this situation: it was hardly ‘self-contained’ and sharing the kitchen to make my early morning coffee did fill me with some apprehension. I can be shy. However it was the best I could find and winter was drawing near so I proceeded. Most of all I needed a base from which to search for longer-term accommodation.

On the day I moved in, my landlord told me that he felt achy and tired and didn’t feel at all well. I was worried and asked whether he’d just been vaccinated as I was fully aware of the high numbers of adverse reactions and had witnessed such reactions among my own friends. My new landlord, it transpired, had just had his fourth jab plus a flu jab and was fully stocked up until the call for the next one, as he put it.

It was as he talked so blithely about this, not recognising any possible connection between the jabs and symptoms, that a feeling of dread came over me that something bad was going to happen. At work I heard myself saying: ‘I have a horrible feeling my landlord will have a heart attack and I don’t know why.’ But at the same time I think I did know why.

Two weeks passed and it was a rainy Sunday evening when I came down from my bedroom into the lounge to find my landlord Ian sitting watching TV. I asked him whether he would like anything from the shops and he replied in an anxious voice: ‘No, I don’t feel well, I think I’m having a heart attack.’ He said he had chest pains and tingling in the arm. I said we must phone an ambulance immediately and he dialled 111. The first thing I heard them suggest was that he wore a mask. Really? To restrict his oxygen even more? Are you nuts? They agreed to send an ambulance and then he turned to me and said ‘the call handler has asked you to wear a mask’ if I was to accompany him to the hospital. My immediate response was ‘No chance.’ I then watched him helplessly (and against my advice) trying to garner oxygen whilst suffocating himself in the nappy he thought he must wear, and panicking. When the ambulance eventually arrived the paramedics immediately asked me to put a mask on, so again I replied ‘Absolutely not.’ They then asked if I had been jabbed or had Covid. I said: ‘Are you serious, the man is having a suspected heart attack and you are asking me ridiculous questions? And he can’t breathe because he’s wearing a mask!’
