The Origin of Man
#11
No I haven't read David's book Charotte. I guess I have a more simplistic view of the opposing sides in this fight. Than what I have read in this thread so far. I certainly agree with a lot that David speaks of, but not all of it.
#12
Greg, I hope you’re not seeing this as fighting or upset because we might disagree. Just to let you know that I will always value and appreciate your views - sometimes there is no wrong or right answer to these deep questions.
#13
Ok Greg I just wondered! It really is a similar theme though! Just our interpretations of God that differ I think!

I also don’t agree with all David says in his books that would only be closed minded also but I won’t throw the baby out with the bath water like so many do.

And you know I’ve already explained I respect & value your opinions Wink

I'm actually going to see David Icke in a month or two and I'll buy his book at the talk, it should be really interesting. There are a number of topics talked about by David and others on the origins of man, non-human entities and the reality of our world about which I really don't know what to think. I wouldn't say I disagree because I simply don't have the knowledge to agree or disagree. All I can do is go by what makes sense to me.

Traditional religion stopped making sense to me some years ago and I lost my faith when I was young. But I've been reading and listening to and watching quite a lot recently about the idea that humans changed suddenly and dramatically because of contact with more advanced beings from elsewhere and that does make sense. This is something so far outside our experience no matter how much study we do into the topic all we can do is to use our logic and gut instinct.

My interest in the nature of reality came about through reading Aldous Huxley when I was young. Not just the novels but also his excellent essays. One phrase he used  struck me as very profound and which I think summed up his beliefs and also I think those of David Icke and people like Wayne Dyer and Eckhart Tolle who I've also read and would recommend. He said that "life is largely illusory but it is nevertheless important to improve the illusion". This is what Richie and the best of the independent media are trying to do, to improve the illusion.

Completely agree! Where bouts you going to see Icke? I’m going too in April Southampton! (Location undisclosed so far)

Yeah I love Wayne Dyer... he got me through some hard times last year after I came across his works... I watched & listened to so much of his stuff & then discovered he was already dead... it was a massive shock! I was almost bereaved! He aas such an amazing man but fortunately left an incredible legacy in that he can even help people like me from beyond the grave! :Smile

Also read Tolle... the power of now years ago & it makes sense but I can’t msintain that level of calm in such a chaotic world!! Lol

Hi. I had similar beliefs about an alien intervention in humanity's development. My thoughts were partly formed by looking through a book as a child and seeing cavemen running in fear, from a flying saucer. Just that random picture made more sense to me than all that religion and science presented to me, up to that point. After I became an adult I saw a movie called Chariots of the Gods and other movies about, after death and out of body experiences. All of these pieces of random imformation, I believe helped me to, in my mind explain human existance. I took comfort in the knowledge that all aliens in movies, could either speak english or understand it. At the age of 32, due mainly to the testimony of an old army buddy. Who told me how he had changed miraculously after an experience, from the God of the Bible, not the powerless god of religion. I was baptized by full immersion and received the Holy Spirit with the evidence Speaking in other tongues. In an instant all my questions were answered, and my understanding of the universe was given a big picture overview. All my prevous theories of life were shelved in favour, of a Spiritual overseer of all natural existance. We are not a holograph because we feel pain (both physically and mentally) and we also die. The Spiritual realm is eternal though, where things that are out of our control, in this natural world, and things in the eternal realm to come, are given into the hands of its creator. I take great comfort , in the promise given to me by scripture, that when Jesus returns I will be like him, and I will know him in the way he knows me now. The only way you will know any of this, is to try it yourself. You like all of humanity has been given a free will and choice. Perhaps it's best not to dismiss Gods existance as an option.

Lol
I'm going to see David in Leicester. Yes Wayne Dyer was great. I discovered him some years ago and wish I'd listened to him more when I was younger. I know what you mean about maintaining calm in the world today. It is not only chaotic but I believe also insane.

I found a chicken bone in my backyard once. I think it was a Road island red, I reckon it was from a family of 10 chickens which had a father born in another country . Its probably between one to two hundred years old I can't be 100% sure. I am not a scientist if I were no one would question my findings. Facts tell us that human remains return to dust in a relatively short time period. Unless they are encased in lava or ice. *[[Ecc 3:20]] KJV* All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Science confirms that have alot in common with dust molecules. Which makes this story from the Bible interesting. *[[Joh 9:6]] KJV* When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, *[[Joh 9:7]] KJV* And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. It seems dust contains the building blocks of life in the hands of the right potter. Adam was formed of the dust ( Hebrew translation as a potter forms clay) then life was breathed into him.

The Sumerian Tablets

The Sumerian Tablets and later Akkadian stories give the names and hierarchy of the Anunnaki. They call the ‘Father’ of the gods, AN, a word that means heaven. Our Father who art in heaven? AN, or Anu to the Akkadians, stayed mostly in heaven with his wife, Antu, and he made only rare visits to the planet they called E.RI.DU (Home in the faraway built), a word which evolved into Earth, according to researcher Zecharia Sitchin’s translation.

The descriptions could also imply that Anu stayed mostly in the high mountains of the Near East where the ‘Garden of Eden’, the place of the gods, is reckoned on good evidence to have been, and he made only rare visits to the plains of Sumer. A Sumerian city was called Eridu.

Anu sent two sons to develop and rule the Earth, the Tablets say. They were Enki, the guy they say created homo sapiens, and his half-brother Enlil. These two would later become great rivals for ultimate control of the planet. Enki, the first born of Anu, was subordinate to Enlil because of the Anunnaki’s obsession with genetic purity. Enlil’s mother was the half sister to Anu and this union passed on the male genes more efficiently than Enki’s birth via another mother.

Later the Tablets describe how the Anunnaki created bloodlines to rule humanity on their behalf and these are the families still in control of the world to this day. The Sumerian Tablets describe how kingship was granted to humanity by the Anunnaki and it was originally known as Anu-ship after An or Anu, the ruler of the ‘gods’.

Researcher Credo Mutwa confirms all this from his own tradition and it is the true origin of the term “the divine right of kings” , the right to rule by your bloodline. Divine = gods, not God. The Brotherhood families are obsessed with bloodlines and genetic inheritance and they interbreed without regard for love. The royal families (family!) and aristocracy of Europe and the so-called Eastern Establishment families in the United States are obvious examples of this. They are of the same tribe and genetically related.

This is why the Brotherhood families have always been obsessed with interbreeding, just as the Sumerian Tablets describe the Anunnaki. They are not interbreeding through snobbery, but to hold a genetic structure which gives them certain abilities and connections to other-dimensional entities. The Tablets describe how humans were given the ability to procreate by Enki and this led to an explosion in the human population which threatened to swamp the Anunnaki, who were never great in number. The Anunnaki had many internal conflicts and high-tech wars with each other, as the Enlil and Enki factions fought for control.

It is generally accepted by researchers of the Anunnaki that Enki is on humanity’s side, but it seems that both groups desire dominance over this planet, and that is their real motivatation. As Zecharia Sitchin documents in his translations, and readers of the Indian holy books, the Vedas, will confirm, there were many accounts of the ‘gods’ going to war with each other as they battled for supremacy.

The Sumerian accounts describe how the sons of the Annunaki ‘gods’ were most involved in these wars. These were the offspring of Enki and Enlil, the half-brothers who became fierce rivals, and their sons played out that battle in a high-tech conflict, the Tablets say. One battle they appeared to have been involved in was the biblical destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. These cities were probably located at the southern end of the Dead Sea where, today, radiation readings are much higher than normal.

This was when, according to the Bible, Lot’s wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. After referring to the original Sumerian, Zecharia Sitchin says that the true translation of that passage should read that Lot’s wife was turned into a pillar of vapour which, on balance, is rather more likely!

All over the world in every native culture you will find stories of a Great Flood and the Sumerian Tablets are no different. Sitchin says they tell how the Anunnaki left the planet in flying craft, as an enormous surge of water wiped out much of humanity. There is no doubt that an unimaginable catastrophe, or more likely catastrophes, were visited upon the Earth between approximately 11,000 and 4,000 BC.

The geological and biological evidence is overwhelming in its support of the countless stories and traditions which describe such events. They come from Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Africa, throughout the American continent, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, China, Japan and the Middle East. Everywhere.

Some speak of great heat which boiled the sea; of mountains breathing fire; the disappearance of the Sun and Moon and the darkness that followed; the raining down of blood, ice and rock; the Earth flipping over; the sky falling; the rising and sinking of land; the loss of a great continent; the coming of the ice; and virtually all of them describe a fantastic flood, a wall of water, which swept across the Earth. The tidal wave caused by the comet in the film, Deep Impact , gives you an idea of what it would have been like.

Old Chinese texts describe how the pillars supporting the sky crumbled; of how the Sun, Moon and stars poured down in the north-west, where the sky became low; rivers, seas and oceans rushed to the south-east where the Earth sank and a great conflagration was quenched by a raging flood.

In America, the Pawnee Indians tell the same story of a time when the north and south polar stars changed places and went to visit each other. North American traditions refer to great clouds appearing and a heat so powerful that the waters boiled. The Greenland Eskimos told early missionaries that long ago the Earth turned over. Peruvian legend says that the Andes were split apart when the sky made war with the Earth. Brazilian myth describes how the heavens burst and fragments fell down killing everything and everyone as heaven and Earth changed places. And the Hopi Indians of North America record that: “the Earth was rent in great chasms, and water covered everything except one narrow ridge of mud”.
