Trump impeachment stunt, Ukraine, Qatar
#31
While the Trump supporting media are claiming that just about all the media are against “poor” Donald (!), I still haven’t found a better story on the internet on the firing of US Attorney Geoffrey Berman than the Daily Mail article (!) from my last post in this thread...

A DoJ official said that Berman will be replaced by acting US attorney Craig Carpenito starting on 3 July.

John Bolton claimed in his hot air book that Trump promised Turkish president Erdogan he would interfere in the Halkbank case, which was prosecuted by Berman’s office.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer commented on the firing (technically forced resignation) of Berman:
Quote:This late Friday night dismissal reeks of potential corruption of the legal process. What is angering President Trump? A previous action by this US attorney or one that is ongoing?

Berman’s predecessor Preet Bharara (who was was fired after refusing to resign) commented on Bill Barr “Yes, the attorney general is a liar”: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020...ly-resigns

On June 20, 2020, Representative Jerry Nadler, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, used lots of big words in his announcement (president Donald is probably almost terrified...):
Quote:Last night, Attorney General Bill Barr told us that Geoffrey Berman of the SDNY had resigned—which was untrue. Today, Barr told us that the President asked him to fire Mr. Berman—which may also be untrue, given that the President says he had nothing to do with the decision. The whole thing smacks of corruption and incompetence, which is what we have come to expect from this President and his Attorney General.

Neither the President nor the Department of Justice have offered any explanation for Mr. Berman’s purported dismissal. We know that the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York is engaged in investigations aimed at President Trump’s inner circle. We know, from revelations earlier this week, that the President wanted to have ‘his own people’ in that office to help him with his personal and political needs. And we know that, time and time again, Bill Barr has reached into ongoing criminal investigations in order to protect the President from their consequences. The American people are right to be outraged. Barr may sit in the office of the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, but he clearly cares very little about the law.

The House Judiciary Committee will immediately open an investigation into this incident, as part of our broader investigation into Barr’s unacceptable politicization of the Department of Justice. On Wednesday, the Committee will hear from two whistleblowers who will explain why Barr’s attempt to fire Mr. Berman is part of a larger, ongoing, and wholly unacceptable pattern of conduct. If the President removes Mr. Berman, then we will take additional steps to secure his testimony as well.

There are a lot more interesting investigations started by (the office of) Geoffrey Berman that could be more than enough reason for the “deep state” to fire him!

In January 2019, Berman charged Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who was present at the infamous 9 June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower – about damaging information on Clinton, adoption of Russian children, Bill Bowder and/or money laundering by the Russian Prevezon Holdings – with Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, and the Russian-Americans Rinat Akhmetshin and Irakly "Ike" Kaveladze (representing Aras Agalarov).
Berman explained the charges against Veselnitskaya:
Quote:Fabricating evidence to affect the outcome of pending litigation not only undermines the integrity of the judicial process, but it threatens the ability of our courts and our government to ensure that justice is done.

He even charged the largest banks of Turkey and Israel for the violating sanctions against Iran (never mind that Donald’s Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross is wheeling and dealing in Iran) and hiding money in offshore accounts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_Berman

On 30 April 2020, Geoffrey Berman announced a deferred prosecution agreement against Israel's largest bank Bank Hapoalim, for helping to hide assets in offshore accounts and helping to bribe FIFA officials (the body that controls international soccer).
Bank Hapoalim settled the 2 cases for more than $900 million. Berman commented:
Quote:Israel's largest bank, Bank Hapoalim, and its Swiss subsidiary have admitted not only failing to prevent but actively assisting U.S. customers to set up secret accounts, to shelter assets and income, and to evade taxes. The combined payment approaching $1 billion reflects the magnitude of the tax evasion by the Bank's U.S. customers, the size of the fees the Bank collected to provide this illegal service, and the gravity of the illegal conduct.

In the first case, Bank Hapoalim helped launder millions in bribes and kickbacks paid to officials in FIFA. Between 2010 and 2015, Hapoalim’s Miami branch laundered illicit payments to FIFA officials, including former head of Colombian football and a member of FIFA’s executive committee Luis Bedoya. In 2015, Bedoya was banned from international soccer and was (is?) awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty pleading guilty to racketeering and wire fraud.
Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowsk commented:
Quote:For nearly five years, Bank Hapoalim employees used the U.S. financial system to launder tens of millions of dollars in bribe payments to corrupt soccer officials in multiple countries.

In the second case, Bank Hapoalim pleaded guilty to aiding U.S. customers in setting up accounts under false names to evade taxes on more than $7.6 billion in deposits.
For this second case alone, Bank Hapoalim agreed to pay $874 million in penalties, tax arrears and forfeited assets: http://archive.is/KOtzE

Kushner Companies of the in-laws of Donald’s daughter Ivanka Trump Kushner received at least 4 “loans” from Israel’s largest bank Bank Hapoalim that he forgot to disclose: https://www.lawfulpath.com/forum/viewtop...038&p=5440

In 2019, Attorney General William Barr “personally spearheaded” the attempt to stop the investigation by the Department of Justice into the largest Turkish state-owned bank, Halkbank.
That came after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan contacted President Donald “in a bid to avoid charges” and a lobbying campaign for months to avoid prosecution.

The top lobbyist for Turkey was Trump crony Brian Ballard, who had extensive contact with Trump’s lawyer Jay Sekulow during that time.

On 15 October 2019, despite all the pressure, US attorney Geoffrey Berman indicted the Halkbank anyway for a multi-billion-dollar scheme to evade U.S. sanctions on Iran. Berman explained:
Quote:The bank's audacious conduct was supported and protected by high-ranking Turkish government officials, some of whom received millions of dollars in bribes to promote and protect the scheme.
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/202...e-erdogan/

In 2017, the Turkish state bank HalkBank hired former Congressman Bob Wexler and Ballard Partners for $375,000 per quarter. Brian Ballard’s firm, Ballard Partners, was paid $1.5 million from 15 May 2017 to 14 May 2018.

Brian Ballard is a long-time lobbyist for Donald Trump, and raised $16 million for Trump’s presidential campaign. Trump called him after purchasing Mar-a-Largo in 1985, and paid Ballard at least $460,000 from 2013 to 2015 for lobbying work: https://www.lawfulpath.com/forum/viewtop...4440#p4440

On August 8, 2018, weeks before the midterm elections, Berman announced insider trading charges against Trump supporter, U.S. Representative Chris Collins, who subsequently resigned from Congress.

On 22 June 2017, the CEO of Innate Immunotherapeutics sent an email to the company's board of directors, including Collins, that an important drug trial for the company had failed. Collins immediately phoned his son to instruct him to sell Innate shares.
By selling before this news was published Collins and his family avoided around $570,000 in losses (the shares dropped around 90%).

Collins subsequently pleaded guilty to insider trading and lying to the FBI.
On 17 January 2020, Judge Vernon Broderick sentenced Collins to 26 months in prison. This was supposed to start on 17 March, but has been delayed to 21 April, June 23, and now 18 August, supposedly because of the COVID-19 “pandemic”: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Coll...olitician)

There is important information missing in the stories on Bank Hapoalim...
I found absolutely no information on the American criminals that used Bank Hapoalim to evade taxes!

Here’s some more information on the bribes to FIFA officials by the Argentine company Full Play Group that won marketing rights for the 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2023 Copa Americas (South America’s soccer championship).
Full Play is controlled by Hugo Jinkis and his son Mariano, who were first indicted in 2015.

From 2010-14, Full Play made at least 53 bribe payments totalling more than $14 million to Louis Bedoya, Jose Luis Chiriboga, Esquivel and Figueredo: https://www.timesofisrael.com/bank-hapoa...x-evasion/

According to some Trump supporters, it’s great that Geoffrey Berman was fired because former U.S. attorney Bud Cummins contacted him about Lutsenko's allegations against Manafort and Biden in the Ukraine, but that Berman inexplicably didn’t investiaget further.
Cummins said about Lutsenko's claims: “At the time, I didn’t know a whole lot about Ukraine. I didn’t make any real attempt to vet this. I didn’t care, that wasn’t my job”.

Rudy Giuliani was also in contact with Bud Cummins about the allegations against Manafort and Biden in the Ukraine.
In January 2019, Giuliani interviewed Yuriy Lutsenko and Viktor Shokin, but instead of bringing this information to the FBI, Rudy leaked this information to the press (obviously Giuliani didn’t want this thoroughly investigated...).
Rudy explained:
Quote:I deliberately shared my stuff with media because I didn't want to give it to the FBI. The very best thing to do is to use the press.

In early 2018, before Cummins first heard about Lutsenko's claims, Lutsenko had launched a personal attack against the then US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, by a series of unsupported allegations against her.
Lutsenko even sought help from 2 Soviet-born “businessmen” who are close to Giuliani, Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas (that were later prosecuted by Berman).

In 2016, Cummins served as chair of Donald Trump’s campaign in Arkansas, then as a Trump whip at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland. He went on to serve on the Trump administration transition team together with Geoffrey Berman.
Cummins refused to say if his actions were related to lobbying for any particular client. Bud Cummins has previously lobbied for former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/working-...d=67273198

In 2010, Israeli authorities “investigated” a money-laundering case of Bank Hapoalim that involved the Katsyv family. Millions of dollars were transferred through Katsyv-controlled accounts at the bank. According to Israeli prosecutors, Hapoalim bank managers concealed the real beneficiaries of these accounts in violation of anti-money-laundering rules.
The bank blamed Katsyv’s business for these violations, so the bank managers were found not guilty.

Prevezon Holdings Ltd was registered in 2005 and is owned by Denis Katsyv and Martash Investment Holdings Ltd from the British Virgin Islands that is also owned by Denis Katsyv.

On 5 February 2008, Bunicon received $9.4 million from the correspondent account of the Krainiy Sever bank. The next day Bunicon sent $410,000 to Prevezon’s account at the Swiss bank UBS AG.
On 13 February 2008, Elenast received $800,000 from the same account and then transferred more than half that amount to Prevezon.

Katsyv is also in business with Russian oligarch Lev Leviev: https://www.reportingproject.net/proxy/e...tsky-money
(http://archive.is/44HQS)

For the inevitable Trump links...
Rotem Rosen was the "right hand man" of diamond magnate Chabad-Lubavitcher Lev Leviev.
In December 2007, Zina Sapir, daughter of (the late) Tamir, married Rotem Rosen, in a wedding hosted by Donald Trump at the Mar-a-Lago.
The Sapir Organization (that was founded by Tamir Sapir) partnered with Bayrock and the Trump Organization in the Trump SoHo project.

Lev Leviev also bought Israeli media companies together with Donald Trump’s close friend Ronald Lauder.

And links to Donald’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
In 2015, Kushner’s company purchased the former New York Times Building in Times Square from an entity called Africa-Israel Investments, headed by Russian oligarch Lev Leviev.
Leviev was a business partner of the Russian Prevezon Holdings that was accused of money laundering by the DoJ. Prevezon was represented by Natalia Veselnitskaya and got off with a “slap on the wrist” of $6 million.
Leviev told the New York Times that he was a “true friend” of Vladimir Putin, largely through his work with the Moscow Jewish Museum, the Russian Jewish Congress and his close ties to Russia’s Chief Chabad Rabbi, Berel Lazar: https://www.lawfulpath.com/forum/viewtop...viev#p4908

The following story is quite good... see some excerpts (including Hapoalim, Leviev, Denis Katsyv and Preet Bharara).
Quote:Trump fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey primarily because Comey asked for additional resources from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to beef up the FBI's "follow-the-money" investigation of the Trump campaign. The FBI's receipt of data from the Department of Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN) regarding the money laundering involving Trump and Kushner businesses, accounts maintained by the Bank of Cyprus, HSBC, Bank Hapoalim of Israel, and other banks, and the Trump presidential campaign are what lie at the heart of the FBI's investigation of Trump. The FBI is reportedly focused on Trump's associates' financial dealings with banks in Cyprus.

Bayrock was linked as a partner to another business syndicate, the Sapir Organization, headed by Donald and Ivanka Trump's and Jared Kushner's good friends Rotem Rosen and Israeli citizen Alex Sapir. The Sapir Organization is involved in major hotel projects in New York and around the world, including the Trump Tower in Toronto. Others involved with the Toronto Trump Tower include Uzbek-Israeli diamond tycoon Lev Leviev, accused of trafficking in African "blood diamonds" and Canadian-Russian-Israeli businessman Alexander Shnaider, owner of Talon International Development Inc, and co-owner of Midland Resources Holding Inc. with his partner Ukrainian-Russian billionaire , who is also vice-president of the World Jewish Congress.

According to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, none other than Preet Bharara, who Trump fired, the Trincher criminal syndicate, known as the "Taiwanchik-Trincher Organization, ran a major illegal sports betting operation in the United States. Bharara's indictment specified the "Taiwanchik-Trincher Organization (the "Organization") was a criminal enterprise with strong ties to Russia and Ukraine. The enterprise operated a high-stakes, illegal sports gambling business out of New York City that catered primarily to Russian oligarchs living in Ukraine and Russia." In other words, the same tower that Donald Trump called home was the center of a major illegal sports betting operation. Given Trump's own ties to gambling casinos and professional sports, there is little wonder why Trump viewed Bharara and Comey as threats.

A Kushner project to redevelop Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood involves the family of Israel's diamond magnate billionaire family. The Kushner deal involves Raz Steinmetz, whose uncle is Beny Steinmetz, the owner Steinmetz Diamond Group and BSG Resources, the latter under an FBI investigation for violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for bribes paid to officials of the West African Republic of Guinea for mining concessions in that nation. Steinmetz companies also conduct business through a British Virgin Islands shell company called "Rebar LLC."

Ras Steinmetz's brother, Daniel Steinmetz, was involved in business with Jared Kushner through Gaia Investments Corporation of Tel Aviv through an affiliate Gaia JC LLC. After Jared Kushner became a chief adviser to Trump, said to be one of only a few in a Trump "inner circle" that also includes daughter Ivanka Trump, communications specialist Hope Hicks, and Trump "body man" Keith Schiller, the Steinmetz-Kushner firm changed its name to "65 Bay LLC."

In a case that was vigorously pursued by fired U.S. Attorney Bharara in Manhattan, the U.S. Justice Department, now under Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his deputy Rod Rosenstein, has agreed to a settlement with Moscow businessman Denis Katsyv and his hedge fund firm Prevezon Holdings, Ltd. just three days before scheduled jury selection for the trial. Prevezon and its eleven related companies had been charged with money laundering for a criminal network extending from Russia to Moldova and Latvia to New York and Israel. What was at the heart of the money laundering case? You guessed it. the Red Kosher Nostra. Katsyv's partners included his Russian partner Timofey Krit and Israeli businessman Alexander Litvak.

Kushner Companies buying real estate in New York for $190 million was made possible because of investments from Israel’s Raz Steinmetz, whose uncle is none other than diamond billionaire Beny Steinmetz.
Since at least 2012, Kushner Cos. and Raz Steinmetz’s investment firm Gaia have been in business including in a number of joint ventures.

A “dubious relationship” between Gaia and Bank Hapoalim, which is also one of Kushner Cos. lenders, has been reported.
Gaia Investment lists Shlomo Meichor and Assi Arev as principals. Meichor was previously chief financial officer of Ampal-American Israel Corp. In 1996, Raz Steinmetz and his father Daniel (Beny’s brother) bought a controlling interest in Ampal-American Israel Corp. from Bank Hapoalim.

In the 1990s, Beny and Daniel formed Steinmetz Diamond Group (now Diacor International Ltd.), which is one of about 80 companies that can buy diamonds from De Beers SA.

Beny Steinmetz, who was represented by none other than Trump supporter and Jeffrey Epstein friend Alan M. Dershowitz, has been accused of bribing Guinea (in Africa) government officials with tens of millions of dollars, for his Beny Steinmetz Group Resources (BSGR), to secure iron-ore mining rights.
Beny Steinmetz started a “frivolous and false” lawsuit against none other than George Soros for orchestrating being prosecuted in the US: http://archive.is/O0ldi

Beny Steinmetz is of course also a close business partner of Dan Gertler, who is plundering the Congo from its natural resources: https://forums.richieallen.co.uk/showthr...83#pid7383

Interestingly, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) oversees prosecutions of Wall Street banks and the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank of New York (both located in that district).
After Geoffrey Berman was ousted as US attorney, President Donald nominated Jay Clayton for SDNY US Attorney, who was previously installed by Donald to head the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

I could have been correct about why AG Bill Barr fired US attorney Geoffrey Berman...
(06-21-2020, 03:46 PM)Firestarter Wrote: Maybe the most damaging is that Berman continued the investigation after Epstein was suicided and declared that Epstein’s close friend Prince Andrew had “provided zero co-operation” in his investigation (despite promising to do so). His office even formally requested that the US Department of Justice would ask the British Home Office so Randy Andy could be questioned as a witness

The indictment of Ghislaine Maxwell (literally on the first working day that Berman didn’t go to work) only covers the period from 1994 to 1997.
Prince Andrew sexually abused the 17-year-old Virginia Roberts (Giuffre) in 2001. So because the indictment doesn’t cover that period Randy Andy is off the hook.
Queen Elizabeth says “thank you Donald for saving my favourite son”.

See the photo of Prince Andrew, Virginia Roberts and Ghislaine Maxwell in London in 2001.

Jay Clayton, who Donald likes to “oversee” (not) prosecution of the major banks, has previously represented 8 of the 10 largest Wall Street banks when he was an attorney, partner at the Sullivan & Cromwell law firm...
Jay Clayton has worked for UBS and the Deutsche Bank that was recently fined $150 million (after charges brought by Berman’s office) over amongst others its relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
He also represented the film studio of Harvey Weinstein.

Clayton represented Goldman Sachs in perhaps its most important deal, the $5 billion investment by Warren E. Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway during the 2008 financial crisis. His wife, Gretchen, has worked at Goldman Sachs...
In the last year, Jay Clayton earned some $7.6 million from Sullivan & Cromwell. He has investments in Apollo Global Management, Bain Capital (founded by Mitt Romney), J.C. Flowers and Perry Partners.

Jay Clayton has also represented TeliaSonera that has business ties to Russia and Iran.
The deals Clayton was involved in, included its stake in Russian mobile phone operator MegaFon, with the Russian Altimo that has long been controlled by the notorious Russian billionaire, Chabad-Lubavitcher Mikhail Fridman, who is best known for controlling the Alfa Group (including the Alfa Bank that communicated with the Trump Organization and the Spectrum Health of the DeVos family during the 2016 election campaign): http://archive.is/VVahu

Clayton is by no means the only lawyer Trump has nominated, appointed with ties to the Alfa Group...
See Rudy Giuliani with the heads of Alfa Bank; Mikhail Fridman (left) and Pyotr Aven in Moscow at Alfa’s “Award for Excellence in Foreign Investment in Russia”.

Jay Clayton has also arranged Initial Public Offerings for a number of companies, including the $1.2 billion Och-Ziff Capital Management IPO (of Dan Gertler, the Chabad-Lubavitcher plundering the Congo).

During the financial crisis of 2007–2008, Clayton advised Bear Stearns (close to Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump) in its fire sale to JPMorgan Chase in 2007: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Clayton_(attorney)

Thanks to our wonderful media and watchdogs that keep both eyes closed, this is another exclusive story.
I couldn’t find a single story on the internet on this blatant act of censorship that obscures the results of the “going direct” plan in the next “crisis” that was authored by BlackRock in August 2019.

On 26 July, I searched in vain for current information on the major shareholders in BlackRock and PNC Financial Services.
To my shock this information has been (almost) completely censored since 30 March 2020 (for all American corporations!): http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread....ost6968271

Since December 2017, I have repeatedly looked at the major shareholders in some of the biggest corporation in the USA. So I know that “normally” this information is available every day.

CNN does have some more recent information on “institutional activity” (30 June seems to be the cut off date for that).
Obviously this isn’t current (while CNN doesn’t even list the date of the information!) as PNC Bank is still listed as the biggest shareholder in BlackRock with 22% (that sold most of its stake in May): https://money.cnn.com/quote/shareholders...titutional

When Trump was elected, I said to my wife: "There's no compromise with that guy. They're either going to impeach him, or to reelect him". And... I was wrong. The situation is even more interesting. The impeachment attempt failed, and regarding the reelection, it's difficult to know so far; both parties are doing their absolute best to make sure they'll lose in November, and are pretty good at being terrible, so we just have to wait and see who crashes first.

By the way, France had corruption issues with BlackRock as well, with significant numbers of legislators (or, more accurately, their families) buying shares of the company before allowing it to operate in France (as there's a serious legal framework around pensions there; the current government is trying to discard it, but the people are against it). That company really is involved every time democracy gets put aside...

The story that we’re told about Donald Trump standing up for what he believes in, is of course complete BS. Donald Trump will change position more often than a hooker drops her pants, if his handlers tell him to (just like other politicians)...

I don’t recommend this book but I once “read” the book Bob Woodward - “Fear: Trump in the White House” (in 30 minutes so possibly this wasn't the only interesting info in the whole book).

Bob Woodward describes a meeting in 2010 where Donald Trump is introduced to Steve Bannon by David Bossie. Bossie amongst others confronts Trump with the fact that he had donated much more to Democrooks than to Republicons.
Bannon advised Trump to be “the Tea Party candidate, against the ‘rigged system’ and elites, and hold up populism for the common man”.
Quote:‘If you’re going to run for president,’ Bossie said, ‘you have to know lots of little things and lots of big things.’ The little things were filing deadlines, the state rules for primaries — minutiae. ‘You have to know the policy side, and how to win delegates.’ But first, he said, ‘you need to understand the conservative movement.’
Trump nodded. ‘You’ve got some problems on issues,’ Bossie said. ‘I don’t have any problems on issues,’ Trump said. ‘What are you talking about?’ First off, there’s never been a guy win a Republican primary that’s not pro-life,’ Bossie said. ‘And unfortunately, you’re very pro-choice.’

‘What does that mean?’
‘You have a record of giving to the abortion guys, the pro-choice candidates. You’ve made statements. You’ve got to be pro-life, against abortion.’
‘I’m against abortion,’ Trump said. ‘I’m pro-life.’
‘Well, you’ve got a track record.’ ‘That can be fixed,’ Trump said. ‘You just tell me how to fix that. I’m — what do you call it? Pro-life. I’m pro-life, I’m telling you.’
(...)
An hour into the meeting, Bossie said, ‘We have another big issue.’ ‘What’s that?’ Trump asked, seeming a little more wary. ‘Well,’ he said, ‘80 percent of the donations that you’ve given have been to Democrats.’ To Bossie that was Trump’s biggest political liability, though he didn’t say so.
‘That’s bullshit!’ ‘There’s public records,’ Bossie said. ‘There’s records of that?’ Trump said in utter astonishment. ‘Every donation you’ve ever given.’ Public disclosure of all political giving was standard. ‘I’m always even,’ Trump said. He divided his donations to candidates from both parties, he said. ‘You actually give quite a bit. But it’s 80 percent Democratic. Chicago, Atlantic City . . .’

‘I’ve got to do that,’ Trump said. ‘All these fucking Democrats run all the cities. You’ve got to build hotels. You’ve got to grease them. Those are people who came to me … I can be the nominee,’ Trump said. ‘I can beat these guys. I don’t care who they are. I got this. I can take care of these other things.’ Each position could be revisited, renegotiated. ‘I’m pro-life,’ Trump said. ‘I’m going to start.’

Donald’s and the SCL Group’s spin doctor Steve Bannon has been arrested for taking $1 million from a crowd-funded border wall campaign, and spending hundreds of thousands on “expenses”.
See Donald Trump Jr. praising the “We Build The Wall” scam in July 2019 with its leader Brian Kolfage (an Iraq war veteran, who lost both legs and his right arm).
[Image: 32199620-8649179-image-m-16_1597971496656.jpg]

Prosecutors charged Bannon, Kolfage and 2 others with defrauding hundreds of thousands of people out of $25 million in donations for the wall.
Bannon pleaded not guilty and was released on a $5 million bail: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...event.html

The “We Build The Wall” scam was started in February 2019, by amongst others Bannon, Kolfage and attorney Kris Kobach.
They repeatedly promised that all of the donated money would go to the border-wall projects. Maybe technically, legally speaking awarding yourself hundreds of thousands in salary and/or expenses isn’t a criminal offense (if lying is criminally chargeable all politicians should be in jail).
