Conservative political commentator Candace Owens has slammed USA Today’s decision to include President Biden’s transgender Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine among its nominees for 2022 Women of the Year.
The inclusion on the list of Dr. Levine, 64, who is the nation’s first openly transgender federal official to be confirmed by the Senate, sparked outrage from some critics including Owens.
‘Whats a woman? I’m confused. I don’t know what a woman is anymore. It is funny and pointedly ridiculous. It gets back to what I always say about progressives which is that they’re always so progressive that they actually just regressive, right? Owens began in a lengthy diatribe on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News on Tuesday night.

Florida rejects trans swimmer’s victory in women’s race

Governor Ron DeSantis recognized runner-up Emma Weyant as the legitimate winner
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an order on Tuesday refusing to recognize a transgender swimmer as the winner of a recent women’s swimming race and instead recognizing the runner-up.
Male-born transgender swimmer Lia Thomas was declared the winner of the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship on Thursday, sparking outrage from critics who argued that the runner-up – Olympic silver medalist Emma Weyant – should be considered the real victor.
In a statement on Tuesday, DeSantis became the first governor to officially recognize Weyant as the legitimate winner of the race instead of Thomas, and accused the National Collegiate Athletic Association of working to destroy women’s sports.
“A male identifying as a woman was allowed to compete in and was declared the winner of the race by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Emma was determined to have come in second place,” DeSantis wrote, before pointing out that Florida’s Fairness in Women’s Sports Act states men should be prohibited from taking part in women’s sports.
“Women have fought for decades to have equal opportunities in athletics, and it is wrong to allow ideology to erode these opportunities as is happening in other states,” the governor said. “It is my determination that men should not be competing against women such as Emma Weyant, robbing women and girls of achievements, awards, and scholarships.”

Twitter has been slammed after it failed to uphold a complaint about an alleged ‘death threat’ against author J.K. Rowling featured in a music video by a trans activist.
Trans campaigner Faye ‘Trust Fund Ozu’ included the threatening words as part of a 90’s-themed video titled ‘J.K. Rowling diss track’.
The video sees the singer against an animated backdrop with vocals about ‘killing TERFS’ [Trans exclusionary radical feminists’ and ‘J.K. hope you fit in a hearse’.
The Harry potter novelist posted screen grabs of the song on Twitter and wrote: ‘I’m afraid I can’t give a shout out to everyone promising to murder me – there are so many of you, and I’m a busy woman – but this one deserves a mention for the nineties rave vibe.’
Actor James Dreyfus reported the activist’s post on Twitter, but the social media platform failed to uphold the complaint over the alleged threat as it hadn’t ‘broken its safety policies’.
Dreyfus tweeted the response and said: ‘Surprise, Surprise! So, death threats = Good. Saying “women are women” = Bad. Congratulations Twitter Support. You’ve hit rock bottom. Seek help.’

A convicted killer and transgender woman has been given a dummy by prison guards after claiming she now identifies as a baby.
Sophie Eastwood, 36, who received a life sentence for strangling her cellmate with shoelaces, has also asked for nappies and baby food.
She is locked up at Polmont prison, Falkirk after killing 22-year-old Paul Algie in 2004.
A young offender known as Daniel at the time, Eastwood was jailed in a young offenders’ institute at 18 for dangerous driving.
She was a month away from the end of her sentence when she strangled Mr Algie.
Guards then dubbed her ‘Hannibal Lecter Jr’ for her wicked mind games.
After realising she wasn’t a gay man in 2016, Eastwood transitioned four years ago.
She finished her 15-year minimum jail term in 2019 but has not been considered for release.
Essex-born Eastwood claims this is because she is trans, the Daily Record reported.
She has also demanded guards hold her hand when she leaves her cell.
And prison wardens are taking her demands seriously.
A source from the Scottish Prison Service told the paper: ‘This prisoner has been difficult and manipulative over the years, which is why she is still behind bars after 17 years.
‘She decided that she would “trans” from a man to woman, which is becoming more common in jails these days.
‘But this is obviously something else entirely.

Trans women should call 999 if they feel unsafe after being asked to leave women-only spaces, the UK’s largest child transgender charity has said.
Mermaids said it was ‘not happy’ with the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s ruling that trans women can be excluded from female-only spaces if there is a legitimate reason, such as protecting privacy.
Last month the EHRC published guidance to help venues make lawful decisions on services they offer to women and men separately, such as toilets.
It advises those ‘at risk of harm’ to ‘call someone you trust, or… 999’.
Naomi Cunningham, a discrimination law barrister, told the Daily Telegraph: ‘The advice to call 999 is grossly irresponsible.’

The Australian Museum has defended allowing a man in women’s lingerie to play with Lego next to children, after one woman slammed it as “disgusting”.
The Australian Museum in Sydney has defended offering a “safe place where everyone feels welcome” after a man wearing women’s lingerie was photographed playing with Lego next to children.
The photos were taken at a “Nights at the Museum” event in April and were shared to Twitter by a user with the handle @SydneyRadfem earlier this month.
They show a man wearing black fishnet stockings, pink boots and women’s underwear, sitting with another person wearing a top hat, playing with Lego blocks surrounded by young children.
“You let a male in fetish gear play in the kids Lego pit during the school holidays,” the woman said. “When I spoke to security they said they could do nothing and pointed me to the organiser. He’s sitting there with his full package out. Disgusting!”
The woman’s account appears to have since been deleted.
One Twitter user wrote, “Man in fetish clothes wants to play with children and the museum are too chicken to remove him. I’m shocked that the parents didn’t pick him up by the hair and kick him into next week. He was poking the hornet’s nest.”
Another said, “Back in the day I worked on an adventure playground, and this herbert would have been ejected from it in double quick time.”

The thread was censored on Twitter due to mass reporting from leftists but was partially restored after it was shared by Rowling.

Doctor who ran clinic for transgender children ‘failed’ an 11-year-old who was transitioning from female to male by not fully explaining drugs could make them infertile, tribunal finds

A doctor who ran an unlicensed online clinic for transgender children ‘failed’ an 11-year-old patient transitioning from male to female by not fully explaining that drugs could cause fertility risks, a medical tribunal found today.
Dr Helen Webberley, founder of GenderGP, was accused of failing to provide good clinical care in 2016 to three patients, aged 11, 12 and 17, who were transitioning from female to male.
She failed 11-year-old Patient C by not discussing risks to fertility at a consultation before prescribing puberty blockers (GnHRa), a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) panel said today, June 28.
Her husband Dr Michael Webberley , who spent 34 years working for the NHS, was struck off in May this year for wrongly prescribing sex-change treatments to seven transgender patients.
His patients included one who was aged just nine and another a teenager who took their own life few months later.
The tribunal said: ‘The tribunal did not consider that Dr Webberley has developed sufficient understanding as to the significance of how she failed Patient C in regard to discussing fertility, and as to how she can be sure that this will not be repeated.’
She put her patients at ‘unwarranted risk of harm’ by failing to provide follow-up care, the panel said.
They found her fitness to practise was impaired by reason of her misconduct, which included failing to discuss risks to fertility with a patient, and on wider public interest grounds.
The tribunal, chaired by Angus Macpherson, found Dr Webberley’s actions amounted to serious misconduct in failing to provide adequate follow-up care to two patients, aged 12 and 17, who were prescribed testosterone.
