I saw the life of Brian, many years ago, and thought then, as I do now, that it was and is hilarious.
All of the posts I have done on this Forum, have tried to present and show a separation between Jesus teachings and religion. This is the Bible's description of guys like that priest, even down to his clothes.
Rev 17:4-5 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Often the people chosen to debate the existence of Jesus, have no idea who he was, or what he came to do.
To make fun of someone who healed the sick, feed 5000 people raised the dead and calmed a storm. For those good deeds was falsely accused and murdered, is a bit of a cheap laugh though.
All things aside many people have had their lives changed for the better because of his teachings.
It reminds me of the so called experts on child birth and raising children are women who have never given birth, or raised a child. Likewise the experts that are chosen to debate the teachings of Jesus don't know him at all.
