The Independent has put out an early (and strong) entry for “Worst Journalism of the Year” award, reporting yesterday the death of Hungarian gymnastics coach Szilveszter Csollany under the headline:

Anti-vax Olympic gold medalist Szilveszter Csollany dies of Covid, aged 51

The glaring issue with this headline becomes clear just three paragraphs into the article [our emphasis]:

While Csollany had, according to [Hungarian newspaper Blikk], expressed anti-vaccination views on social media, the six-time World Championship medallist had been vaccinated to allow him to continue to work as a gymnastics coach.

The journalism is terrible, criminally bad.
The evidence supplied for Csollany’s supposed “anti-vaccination views” is non-existent. Second-hand hearsay, at best. No direct quotations, no sources provided.
OffGuardian would be ashamed to publish something so flimsy. Any outlet should.
But, of course, that isn’t the most egregious part – as you can tell from our emphasised quote – the supposed “anti-vaxxer” had been vaccinated.

Outcry by morons after Sajid Javid axes ‘no jab, no job’ for NHS in ‘Covid’ fake vaccine mandate U-turn while care bosses ask what happens to the 40,000 of THEIR workers who were fired for being un-fake-vaxxed

Ministers were last night accused of undermining public confidence in Covid vaccines after scrapping the requirement for health and social care workers to be jabbed.
Sajid Javid performed an ’11th-hour’ U-turn amid warnings the mandate would lead to crippling staff shortages, with up to 80,000 NHS employees facing the sack.
The Health Secretary told MPs it was ‘no longer proportionate’ to require vaccination as a condition of employment under law because Omicron is ‘intrinsically less severe’ than Delta, which was the dominant strain at the time the measures were announced.
High vaccine uptake across the country also means there is ‘greater population protection’, he added.
However, health leaders warned that the move risks sending a message that vaccines are no longer important – potentially hitting uptake among the wider population.
The chief executives of the NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, Matthew Taylor and Chris Hopson, said NHS leaders were frustrated at the ’11th-hour’ policy change.
In a joint statement they said: ‘They recognise the reasons the Government has given for the changes, the risk to services and the different risk from Omicron compared to previous variants.
‘But there will be concern at what this means for wider messaging about the importance of vaccination for the population as a whole.’
It came as care home bosses told how they were ‘frustrated’ for staff who had already lost their jobs for refusing jabs.

An Israeli company is conducting research on a device that measures tear film, a thin fluid layer covering the ocular surface that may aid in the detection of Covid-19 disease through a simple eye test.
The tear film is a thin fluid layer that covers the ocular surface and is responsible for the comfort of the eye’s surface, mechanical, environmental, and immune protection, as well as epithelial health. According to the Jerusalem Post, it also forms a smooth refractive surface for vision.
The purpose of the research is to determine whether the Tear Film Imager (TFI) device can “effectively diagnose and determine Covid-19 in a fast, affordable, non-invasive assessment of the eye’s tear film”, the company Advanced Optical Methods (AdOM) announced late on Thursday.
“The world urgently needs new diagnostic tools to help assess and diagnose aggressive viruses in a non-invasive manner and with speed and efficiency,” AdOM CTO Raanan Gefen was quoted as saying.
The TFI device is a non-invasive piece of medical equipment that measures mucins (proteins that hydrate the tear ducts) as well as the lipid sub-layers of the eye, which keep the eyes from drying out due to evaporation.
The diagnostic device has a resolution depth of a few nanometers and can provide clinicians with a detailed assessment of the health of the tear film sublayers in less than 40 seconds.
The device can also detect and quantify the presence of a “virus layer” in the eye. According to the report, it was able to correctly identify corona in patients at the same rate as a PCR test in a previous concept study at Wolfson Medical Center.

NHS100k Schools Chris Whitty on Science, Medicine and Human Rights

NHS100k has written a letter to Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer (“CMO”) for England, responding to his letter to all “colleagues” in the Department of Health and Social Care stating it is their “professional responsibility to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection” – part of that responsibility, Whitty stated, was “getting vaccinated.”
NHS100k is a group bringing together NHS, care, and social workers who are saying NO to mandated experimental Covid injections.
In response, NHS100k tweeted: “Yesterday [9 February] we wrote to Chris Whitty and his signatories in response to his letter shown below dated 7th February that was sent to NHS staff. We are no more of a danger being vaccine free!”

Your support for the staff vaccine mandate has been another reason for the staff crisis and service disruption.
You state that ‘one aspect of our professional responsibility is to reduce the risk of infection to others as far as possible so getting vaccinated against disease is part of that responsibility’.
Where is the categorical and peer reviewed evidence that staff and students being fully vaccinated will protect others?
There is no documented evidence for prevention of transmission of the virus and in the initial clinical trials for the current vaccines, this data could not be evaluated as it was not collected. Studies looking at transmission have not been in the hospital setting. However, the weekly vaccine surveillance reports clearly indicate the vaccines are not stopping transmission in the vaccinated as the case rates are significantly higher in that group.
Boris Johnson has stated to the public live on TV that ‘the vaccine does not stop you catching the virus or stop you passing it on’ and Sajid Javid is quoted as saying ‘two vaccines do not work against the new variant’.
You state the Covid vaccines are ‘safe and effective’ and provide a very high degree of protection from serious disease.

California Doctors Warn Against COVID-19 Censorship Bill

Some medical professionals are vowing to fight a possible new California law that attempts to threaten their medical licenses for spreading “COVID-19 misinformation”—calling the effort “unconstitutional” and “illegal.”
California Assemblyman Evan Low (D-Campbell) introduced Assembly Bill (AB) 2098 on Feb. 15, which would prevent licensed physicians and surgeons from spreading COVID-19 misinformation. If passed, the law would inject disciplinary actions by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California to care providers promoting alleged misinformation.
“The idea that they’re going to come after physicians that spread misinformation, without defining what misinformation is, [is] frightening,” Physician Dr. Jeff Barke told The Epoch Times.
Amid the pandemic, Barke was among the minority of health care professionals unafraid of challenging the science behind masks and vaccinations pushed by the California Department of Public Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention—urging for individual freedom of choice.
Barke, a private practice physician in Newport Beach, has continuously fought against COVID-19 mandates and has urged for California schools to reopen—saying children are statistically unlikely to die due to the virus.
While Barke is against the mandates—especially lingering COVID-19 vaccine mandates for kids—he reassures that he is not anti-vaccine.

US Fake Vaccination Rates Collapse

As cases of the already-more-mild Omicron strain of Covid-19 subside, vaccination rates in the United States are collapsing, according to AP, which reports that the vaccination drive in the US is ‘grinding to a halt,’ and ‘demand has all but collapsed’ – particularly in rural areas.
At present, the average number of Americans getting their first dose is down to around 90,000 per day – the lowest point since the first few days of the vaccination campaign in December 2020 – while the outlook for any sort of substantial increase has largely evaporated.

‘Covid. Newspeak: Altering Definitions to Alter Perceptions

The phrase “follow the science” is meaningless when “science” itself is manipulated and altered to fit and promote a prevailing agenda. The definitions of some scientific words have been changed in order to fit the “pandemic” narrative:
1) “PANDEMIC”
Most people are unaware that a month before the H1N1 flu “pandemic” in 2009, the WHO changed the definition of the word “pandemic” to fit the narrative.
Pre-2009 definition:
“An influenza pandemic occurs when a new influenza virus appears against which the human population has no immunity, resulting in several, simultaneous epidemics worldwide with enormous numbers of deaths and illness.”
Post-2009 definition:
“An influenza pandemic may occur when a new influenza virus appears against which the human population has no immunity.”
The prerequisite for illness and deaths in large numbers was dropped. This enables “cases” generated by large numbers of false-positive test results to constitute a “pandemic” regardless of severity in terms of deaths and illness. Completely healthy (asymptomatic) people can now be used to artificially inflate the numbers. An endemic common cold “virus” can now be used to generate a pseudo pandemic without end with “new variants” appearing at politically convenient intervals in order to impose draconian social measures.
2) “HERD IMMUNITY”
In order to sell vaccines, the concept of natural immunity is either completely ignored or it is claimed to be inferior to the immunity induced by a vaccine.
Original definition:
“Herd immunity is the indirect protection from an infectious disease that happens when a population is immune either through vaccination or immunity developed through previous infection.”
Updated 2020 definition:
“‘Herd immunity’, also known as ‘population immunity’, is a concept used for vaccination, in which a population can be protected from a certain virus if a threshold of vaccination is reached. Herd immunity is achieved by protecting people from a virus, not by exposing them to it.”

Warnings of a Workplace Sickness ‘Free For All’ as NHS Expands Covid Symptom List and Workers Advised to ‘Stay at Home’ When Unwell

The Government’s scrapping of free Covid tests combined with an expansion to the NHS list of symptoms will trigger a “free for all” of staff absences, experts have warned. MailOnline has more.
The vast majority of employees in England are now unable to get any free swabs as part of Boris Johnson’s “Living With Covid” strategy.
But health chiefs advise people to “stay at home” if they have any of the 12 newly-recognised symptoms, which can be “very similar” to ones brought on by colds or the flu.
It means, in the absence of a test, people suffering cold-like symptoms will be left to decide “whether or not they stay at home and for how long”, unions say.
Lucy Moreton, a professional officer at the ISU, the union for borders, immigration and customs, warned that it is “inevitable” staff will be off work with mild symptoms if they are unable to confirm whether or not they have Covid.
Unions also fear the chaos will only drive transmission up, with Covid levels already at a pandemic high in England and one in 12 people thought to be currently infected.
Only the elderly, most vulnerable and health and social care workers can access tests for free. Tests are, however, available at high street retailers such as Boots for £2.
England’s mass swabbing regime – thought to cost up to £2billion-a-month – was ditched under Boris Johnson’s “Living With Covid” strategy.
It marked one of the final steps on the route back to normal life, after mandatory self-isolation rules were scrapped in mid-February.
Workers who test positive no longer have to legally self-isolate, although they are still advised to “stay at home and avoid contact with other people”. The NHS also says that they should take “extra care” to avoid making contact with anyone at higher risk of the virus.
NHS Covid advice also says: “You can go back to your normal activities when you feel better or do not have a high temperature.’”

Boris Johnson has admitted he ‘can’t rule out’ plunging the UK into a Covid lockdown again in the future, despite only just releasing the nation from two years of crippling on-off restrictions.
The Prime Minister previously promised the route back to normality was ‘irreversible’, seemingly consigning draconian stay-at-home orders to history.
But the PM has now said it would be ‘irresponsible’ for the Government not to keep a blanket shutdown in its virus-fighting playbook. He added: ‘I’m not going to take any options off the table.’
In an interview with GB News set to be aired tomorrow, Mr Johnson added: ‘I want to avoid any such thing ever happening again.’
However, he insisted any decision on bringing back curbs must get the balance right between prioritising public health and saving lives.
Covid cases have soared to pandemic highs in England, despite official tallies having plunged over the past week because of No10’s decision to axe the £2billion-a-month mass-swabbing regime.
Respected surveillance data — which isn’t based on people coming forward for tests — estimates one in 12 people were infected at the end of March.
Daily hospital admissions are currently on par with Omicron’s January peak, although thousands of virus patients aren’t primarily ill with the virus.
Omicron’s milder nature and sky-high immunity rates, from the UK’s historic vaccine drive and repeated waves over the past two years, have drastically blunted the threat the virus poses. Government data suggests it is now no deadlier than the flu.

UK Government report admits 19.2 million people in England have not had a single dose of a ‘Covid’ fake vaccine, and another 12 million have refused a 2nd or 3rd dose

For months the British public have been deceived with tales that there are just 5 million people in the United Kingdom who have refused to take up the offer of a Covid-19 vaccine. But this is a complete fabrication that has no doubt been used to make those who have refused the jab feel as if they are part of a minority.
Because an official UK Government report proves that in England alone there are at least 19.2 million people who have not had a single dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, 21.8 million people who have not had two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, and 31 million who have not had 3 doses of a Covid-19 Vaccine, meaning nearly half of England’s population has become wise to the propaganda and lies spouted by the Government and mainstream media over the past two years.

t was back in September that the British public were told there were 5 million Brits who had so far refused the experimental jabs. Sir Patrick Vallance, the UK’s Chief Scientific Advisor and former president of GlaxoSmithKline, announced in a televised Covid-19 briefing that “There are five million or so people who are eligible for vaccines now who haven’t been vaccinated,”.
Well it turns out the “or so” make up approximately another 14.2 million people in England alone as of 10th April 22 , bringing the grand total of people who have refused the Covid-19 jab to 19.184,986.
The UK Health Security Agency replaced Public Health England in the second half of 2021, and is sponsored by the Department for Health and Social Care and headed by Dr Jenny Harries.
