Thanks for that video Steve, as a musician that grew up in the sixties, I have had my suspicions that all modern music sounds the same. When I am in a shop which nearly always is playing current music, I often comment to the young shop assistant that I feel sorry for their generation and the music they have to endure. Often their reply is yea, I hate it too. Its good to know that assumption is backed up by science. Its also interesting that each generation can't understand the lyrics of another generations songs. I guess by design they are aimed to appeal to the young rebellious kids of each time period.

Modern songs also include, rap, and techno. Neither of these styles, should be used in the same sentence as music. I must be getting old by the way.
On the conspiracy front, you may find it interesting to know, that Alistair Crowley, Britain's number one Satanist, dubbed as the most wicked man on earth during his lifetime. Is on the Sergeant Peppers Album cover. There is alot of Satanic symbols in music also as you pointed out in the thread about the illuminati. The story surrounding Blues guitarist Robert Johnston's rise to fame and his so called pact with the devil is iteresting too. Also the amount of famous musicians who died at the age of 27. Perhaps not everything is at it seems at face value, this includes the so called Christian music of Hillsong. Which also has those musical formulas all through it, including meaningless repetitions in it's lyrics. Music today is just as processed as the food is, and the people eating it and listening to it, are none the wiser.
I hope your daughters talent and songwriting is recognized though, as the music scene needs more of that. There are still some very talented musicians on YouTube, for the time being anyway.
