Well, for me it was listening to Howard Hughes and his ‘The Unexplained’ radio show which was on Talksport many years ago. The show covered a mix of many different subjects including the paranormal, science, technology, mysteries, ufo’s and conspiracy theories. Notable guests included David Icke and Uri Geller.
Then, suddenly and without warning it was abruptly taken off air with no explanation given. You could say it was Unexplained. This was a real blow as at the time there was no other show quite like this one in the mainstream at least. It made you wonder why it was pulled. Thankfully, in 2006, Howard Hughes started up his show again by broadcasting on-line and to date there are more than 300 podcasts available. The show was then resurrected fairly recently and can now be found on Talkradio on Sunday nights for three hours from 10pm.
I’ve only recently started to listen to Richie Allen but believe that he along with a few others plays an important, crucial role in exposing the continual lies and manipulation occurring in the mainstream on a daily basis. Many subjects covered can be distressing, however I’d rather have the brutal truth than be fobbed of with a load of rubbish. It’s just not good enough relying on say the reporting on the BBC or other stations/media as they will simply tell you what they want you to hear.
Anyway, I think that this year is going to be pivotal - huge upheavals in the financial sector is on the cards which will make the 2008 crash look minor in comparison. It’ll be interesting to see how the mainstream handle this.
