It is God's nature to forgive. Even Judas could have been forgiven but he chose to kill himself instead of receiving the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues on the day of Pentecost Acts ch2. Acts ch10 Cornelius was a righteous man by this worlds standards. He still had to receive the Holy Spirit to be saved. Acts ch 19 1-8 the same thing happened. This common experience happened to me in 1989. Adolf Hitler could have availed himself of Gods pardon, regardless pf his crimes against humanity. Likewise the Popes of Rome who put millions to death, could repent of their evil teachings. The Popes are like the Phantom, when one dies, they pass the ring on to the next holder of the office. The Bible says with God there is no respect of people. We are all equal in his sight. *[[Tit 3:5]] KJV* Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. It seems I have to be converted to your way of thinking. I just present God's conversion as an alternative. Otherwise this Forum is just likeminded people, pushing the same barrow and not exchanging idea's.
