I work in the financial world, and on the day of the Brexit vote I was at a seminar in the Midlands, being run by a London based investment house. The investment managers were covering all sorts of topics, but when asked about the effect of Brexit on the financial markets, they said it was not worth talking about as the vote will be remain. They said bookmakers and polls were showing 65-75% remain, so it was not worth wasting time on an exit senario! In fact they looked a little confused and bewildered that the question was even asked.
