Things are not looking good, we could start looking for farmers who will rent off a pieces or corners of land for GFT's or growing food together groups to get some alternatives that will save them a lot of money.
We already have one here in town but it has gone quiet over the last decade, so we will be looking to bolster interest in the coming new year, there is still enough time to get things together and to police the areas which will be essenrial if you want to keep your hard earned produce.
We lso have a group of creators who are willing to teach people real life skills so they then have another avenue to save money, we are really going to have to get a move on if we are to have some comforts and decent food to eat.
If anyone is thinking of doing this gather as many old double glazing units as you can as thes make great materials for glas house, and remember the outside panes are toughened on most and cannot be cut conventionally, we have made several small growers with them, see picture below.

The mainframe is made from 50 X 25mm roofing lathes and the sides glass are made from thick polythene, and grow things like toms and herbs in profusion and earlier if the season is late.
