My brother also got them in (Grrr) and all he has done is complain about it, every bill is an estimate, the power companies excuse is the pulse isn't strong enough to reach the reader on the lamp post outside

You can put a lock on your meter cupboards as long as a key is available 24/7 in case of emergencies.
