Here in Wellington NZ the local council is rolling out Led street lights over the entire city.
We are part of the resilient cities network.
We have a two year old.
And we also have no wifi or any base stations as they give us both headaches.
A sensation like tightness around the scalp, with migraine tendencies.
This roll out is horrifying, and made all the more horrifying by the fact that people just blank out or ignore you if you talk about it.
no doubt I will encounter the tinfoil remarks soon also.
I have never wanted to move to the middle of nowhere more than now.
This may be the best excuse ever.
Now I only have to figure out how the hell to do it?

There are some great places up North near Whangeri on RD6 with forests and lakes, these areas would make a great commune type setting for those wanting to live off grid, and no frosts up there a thousand feet above the sea.

Politicians, Councils, the Media and the Establishment need to be pressured/shamed into acting.

The key is to have real life skills and a group of skilled people to share the work, if you have a couple of hundred arces, I say acres in old money then you have most of what you need.
Medical and education are the main staples, so medically trained and hands on folks could easily do something real, many are now doing this the world over.
Best not to have children below the age of 12 years, or folks over 60 and then the system could become a trust so it is handed down to those who come into the team/s.
Basically the people become their own income.
