Girl Guides bosses are accused of peddling ‘claptrap’ with glossary of 100 gender and sexuality terms

Girlguiding chiefs have been accused of promoting ‘woke claptrap’ after advising leaders to learn almost 100 terms linked to gender and sexual identity.
Britain’s biggest girls’ group has advised staff to learn a glossary of words such as ‘aromantic’, ‘demisexual’ and ‘agender’, saying ‘it might be worth printing it off… so you can reference it’ with children.
The glossary also includes ‘pansexual’ – ‘attraction for members of all gender identities/expressions’ – and ‘constellation’, the structure of polyamorous relationships. The guidance, first reported by the Sunday Express, encourages girls to learn the glossary in a task called the ‘vocabulary extravaganza’.
Sir John Hayes, of the Common Sense group of MPs, said parents ‘don’t expect (children) to be indoctrinated with a lot of woke claptrap’. It comes after the Daily Mail revealed the Scout Association sold a £1.50 ‘trans fun’ badge for children as young as four, alongside ‘bisexual fun’, ‘lesbian fun’ and ‘pride fun’ options.

Wales to become world’s first to adopt 20mph speed limit on residential roads as part of the anti-car agenda

The Senedd is set to vote on the Welsh Government’s plans to introduce a national 20mph speed limit on residential roads on Tuesday. If the law is passed, it will result in the current 30pmh speed limit being reduced to 20mph on most residential roads and busy streets.
Welsh leading active travel groups have claimed that the move will see Wales become the first country in the world to introduce such measures.
The aim of the new policy is to reduce the number of road traffic collisions and improve air quality.
On top of that, those who favour the new measures claim that they will reduce noise pollution and encourage motorists to shift away from cars.
If the Senedd votes in favour of the policy, it is expected to come into force from September 17, 2023.
The Government is estimating that the move will also save money in the long run.
Ministers claimed that it will cost £33million to implement the changes.
However, they expect the new speed limit to save £58million by reducing the use of emergency services and hospital admissions.
Those who support the move added that pedestrians are 40 percent less likely to die when hit by a vehicle travelling at 20mph compared to 30mph.

The Madness is getting worse

[ol]
[li]I overheard this outside a shop: ‘I was lucky enough to test positive for covid. (Chuckle, chuckle.) Convenient now that the weather’s nice. I had to do the test six times to get a positive. I’m pretty certain to get long covid. (Chuckle, chuckle.) That’ll be another 12 months off work so I’ve bought some new golf clubs.‘[/li]
[li]Water shortages are on their way. Already, the unfortunate souls who live in Devon have been told to use less water so that there will be enough for all the holidaymakers flooding into the county. (This policy seems designed to create hatred against holidaymakers and therefore to discourage travel – even within the UK.)[/li]
[li]Food thefts from allotments are now commonplace – and will get worse as food prices soar. When food rationing is introduced people will stand guard over their allotments.[/li]
[li]The greens and global warming nutters seem to hate poor people. First they insisted that old cars were banned. Now they’re insisting that old caravans are removed from caravan sites because they are a danger, an eyesore or a threat to the profitability of the caravan industry (I’m not sure which.) Oh, and we are told that old cars aren’t suitable to be used in warm weather because they are more likely to break down.[/li]
[li]In Wales, they now want a 20 mph limit in built up areas. That will ruin delivery businesses, create massive blockages and vastly increase the use of fuel (most modern cars are inefficient at 20 mph). And those with high performance cars will need to have their vehicles serviced every few miles. Oh, and emergency vehicle response times will deteriorate still further. Soon, accident and heart attack victims will have to call for an ambulance a week before they need one.[/li]
[li]Another motorist has been fined for driving too close to a cyclist. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay £620 in court costs and a £50 victim surcharge. The cyclist was not hurt or damaged in any way. This sets a dangerous precedent. Cyclists could now become professional victims – riding around the country filming motorists and collecting £50 each time they think a car has gone too close (legally, too close is now around five feet  Read More: The Madness is getting worse[/li]

Famous Pork Pie roundabout ‘should have name changed to stop offending vegans’

The Pork Pie roundabout is an East Midlands landmark named after a library, but a group of vegan activists want us to call it something else.

Peta has written to the mayor of Leicester, Sir Peter Soulsby, claiming renaming it the Vegan Pie Roundabout would promote a healthier lifestyle.
The animal rights group cites a survey which found a third of people over the age of 18 in the area are obese – rising from under a quarter five years earlier.
Peta claims Vegan Pie Roundabout – the current name of which came from the nearby 1930s Pork Pie Library – is also fitting as it says the term vegan was invented in the city.
Senior campaigns manager for Peta Kate Werner said: ‘This timely name change would inspire healthier food choices that help the environment, celebrate Leicester’s heritage, and prevent animal suffering. This is not a pie-in-the-sky request.
‘Eating a varied plant-based diet has been shown to prevent heart disease, diabetes, abdominal fat, and cancer.
‘Encouraging people to eat plant-based could also help lessen the burden on Leicester’s already overstretched NHS.’
James Aris, a spokesman for rural campaigners the Countryside Alliance, said: ‘Peta is renowned attention seekers, desperate for any publicity they can get. They are best ignored and no politician should take them remotely seriously.’
Critics flooded social media to mock the call, while Sir Peter Soulsby told Metro he was dismissing it as a ‘pie in the sky’ stunt.
Speaking on behalf of the council and the city’s Pork Pie Library, he said today: ‘It’s a funny and quite clever way of drawing attention to themselves and their cause – but there is no way we could change the name people have given to the library and the roundabout next to it.

Will the Lunacy Never Stop?

[li]Idiotic doctors are apparently now puzzled by the fact that diarrhoea is a common symptom among the vaxxed who have not yet died. I’m delighted to say that they need be puzzled no more. I have the answer. The sad and sorry souls who agreed to be jabbed with the covid-19 toxic garbage are developing diarrhoea because their immune systems were buggered by the jab. In the winter the hospitals will be full of jabbed patients dying of infections such as pneumonia.[/li]
[li]I feel sorry for the young ones who aren’t allowed to enjoy a few rare weeks of summery sunshine in Europe but who are being lied to and told that the sunny days are a harbinger of drought and death. In summer we sometimes have nice weather. Official statistics show there have been hotter summers.[/li]
[li]My contempt for the cowards at the BBC, and the rest of the bought and paid for mainstream media continues to grow. None of which has the guts to let me debate the fake pandemic, the fake global warming scare or the rest of the garbage with one of their pathetic, obedient little experts – experts who’d say the world was square if you gave them £50 and a free taxi ride. The papers don’t ask questions any more. Like the BBC, they just publish the Government hand-outs. And then hold their hands out for the cash. The BBC, by the way, constantly reports the ever changing list of symptoms caused by the rebranded flu. Just about any symptom you can think of is now on the list. The sole exceptions seem to be hair growing out of the ears and hard skin on the feet. I suspect they’ll be on the list next week. I doubt if there is anyone at the BBC who can spell ‘symptom’. How do these miserable, treacherous, lying, cheats sleep at night? I no longer believe they’re all ignorant simpletons. I believe the 22,000 staff of the BBC and the rest of the media know that they are lying and supporting lies – but they do it for the money and because they are too cowardly to risk annoying the conspirators. The BBC, always pleading poverty and demanding money with menaces from the elderly (after promising to let them watch their televisions without paying a fee) gave its staff big pay rises. There are 74 presenters at the BBC now being paid over £150,000. You will note that I did not say earning over £150,000. Not one of them is worth more than £20,000 a year. Not one. Meanwhile, please don’t pay the BBC licence fee (but don’t break the law, of course.)[/li]

Argos introduces UK-wide ban on phrase ‘two man delivery’ after complaints from shoppers

High street giant Argos has axed the term ” two-man delivery” – after customers made sexism complaints. The phrase has been dropped by the catalogue retail giant.
Now, the high street chain is using the term “people” instead, The Sun reports. It comes after complaints were made to the chain on social media from consumers.
One said: “I noticed in one of your stores your ad was sexist – 2 man delivery. Hopefully moving forward you’ll change this to 2 person delivery.” Another said: “Can you explain why you put up a ‘2 Man Delivery’ sign in your brand new Lewisham shop? Do you only hire men to deliver heavy goods? It’s a very outdated and insensitive phrase.”
Argos said: “We updated our wording earlier this year to ensure we reflect the diverse communities we serve and colleagues we work with.” On its website, the high street chain has a helpful Q&A for customers.

Has Australia gone mad? Family giving out free veggies and grandpa who built a stunning rose garden are both ordered to destroy them because of ‘safety’

A family giving out free fruit and veggies and a great-grandfather who built a beautiful rose garden have both been ordered to destroy them because of ‘safety’.
In the latest signs of bureaucracy gone mad, two councils on opposite sides of the country – in Brisbane and Perth – have made orders to kill off what most would see as a public good.
In the Brisbane suburb of Wellington Point, the Ashwell family was told to tear up their veggie patch, which had been providing free produce to their neighbours.
And on the other side of the country, in Perth’s Golden Bay suburb, 92-year-old Trevor Coster’s flowers have been ordered to be uprooted by next week after just a single complaint.

BREAKING: Pope Francis has ordered all affiliated financial and liquid assets to be transferred to the Vatican Bank by October 1, 2022?

Why has Pope Francis ordered all Vatican affiliated entities to transfer ALL FUNDS and assets to the Vatican Bank?

Francis’ rescript specifies that all financial and liquid assets held in banks other than the IOR must be moved to the Vatican bank within 30 days of Sept. 1, 2022.

The IOR stands for, Institute for Works of Religion. According to the National Catholic Register the IOR is not a bank, but rather a financial institution:

Though commonly called a “bank,” the IOR is technically a financial institute, with no branches, working within Vatican City State to provide services to clients, which include the Holy See and connected entities, religious orders, clergy, Catholic institutions, and Holy See employees.

The IOR saw its number of clients decline by 472, from 14,991 clients at the end of 2020 to 14,519 in 2021. Nearly half of its clients in 2019 were religious orders.
According to its annual report, the financial institution’s $19 million net profit in 2021 was also down from $44 million in 2020 and $46 million in 2019.

There are multiple reasons the Vatican could be ordering all funds to be transferred to the IOR. One reason could be the imminent collapse of the international monetary system that has been predicted by economists for many years now.  Jim Rickards, one of the most respected economists in the world, had this to say recently: ……

The Global Cult-instigated big squeeze that lockdown began: ‘I’m finding it harder and harder every month’: Families warn they face impossible choice between food and electricity in struggle to survive when energy price cap hits £3,549 in October

Families have warned they face an impossible choice between food and electricity in a struggle to survive when the Ofgem energy price cap hits £3,549 this October.
Britons are ‘finding it harder and harder every month’ with the rising cost-of-living, while mothers of disabled children have appealed for urgent help with energy bills.
Others say they will choose to only heat one room in their house this winter to keep costs down as much as possible, and feared for people ‘on the breadline’.
It comes after regulator Ofgem confirmed an extraordinary 80 per cent rise in the energy price cap for around 24million households in England, Scotland and Wales.
The higher cap will come into effect on October 1, but Ofgem warned that some suppliers could start to increase direct debits before then to spread costs.
It will then be adjusted again after December 31, with latest forecasts warning bills could surge again to around £5,400 next January and around £7,000 in April.
Here is a selection of thoughts from Britons about the latest energy price cap rise which will send the average household’s yearly bill soaring from £1,971 as it is now:
‘We face choosing between paying for food or electricity’
