Great articles Richie - short and to the point! I think the whole intended consequence of creating and completely "normalising" an all-pervasive environment of political correctness and self-censorship, is to prevent any opinion being expressed about absolutely anything - no matter how banal or inconsequential the subject or topic might be.

The first thing I say to anyone, male or female, that I meet, is that I am not politically correct, and that I am devoid of morals.
Without exception this elicits a smile, and I can include my GP, nurses, estate agents and anyone else in there.
My GP had to examine me once, and asked if I would like someone else in the room while she did so. I looked at her and told her that I wasn't aware that threesome's were available on the NHS. She just laughed.
