Veritocracy: Casting a Mould for Enlightened Governance?

Appealing to the baser instincts of the masses while growing rich and powerful by taxing their hard labour, has been the bottom line formula for the maintenance of top-down pyramid power for at least the past thousand years in the Western World.
Various forms of deception concerning ‘people power’ disguised the main objective – to convince the mass of the people that their so called ‘freedom’ depends upon their masters having the where-with-all to instruct their every move.  The particular version whereby these masters of control are ‘elected’ to run the affairs of state earned the infamous misnomer ‘democracy’.
The common denominator throughout is a form of rule which strips out the natural urge of human beings to live a meaningful life of aspiration towards a higher purpose. A purpose that breaks the superficial allure of self enrichment and/or of a life of slavery sprinkled each day with just enough sweeteners to convey the sense that there is some compensation for unremitting serfdom.
The top-down control system that has run this planet for a long time now, has come under various descriptive headings: plutocracy, autocracy, kleptocracy, bureaucracy, technocracy, meritocracy and of course, aristocracy. The last two perhaps offering a tinge of hope concerning a certain level of ability and responsibility, to lead.
But of all these headings – and there are more –  none advance or describe a leadership based upon adherence to ‘the path of truth’. To follow the path of truth is a calling which goes beyond the responsible leadership suggested by ‘noblesse oblige’ or the meritocracy of ‘greatest ability’.
It suggests another dimension of commitment altogether. A commitment to justice, honour and particularly the nurturing of the very essence of mankind’s spiritual calling.
As these are the qualities that form the ingredients of a maturing vision of ‘the new society’ that we all long for, then we surely need to invent a new heading to encapsulate the aspirations and goals of a human race intent upon laying the foundations of a dynamic, holistic and unifying concept of governance and leadership.
Governance, based upon the premise that to seek and to implement the truth is the highest and most appropriate goal for a humanity whose origins are of a Divine nature.
So bye bye plutocracy, autocracy, kleptocracy, bureaucracy, technocracy, meritocracy, aristocracy – and democracy.
Hello the pursuit of truth as the fundamental precept of a new society. That new society which must arise-up out of the ashes of today’s burned-out status quo, still posing as a working model of untarnished law and order.
Shall we caste a brand new mould for enlightened governance and call it a ‘Veritocracy’? (Veritas, from the Latin ‘truth’).
A Veritocracy will advocate for a transformation in the way governance is structured and put into practice. It will be beyond ‘politics’ and will not be top-down, but ‘people responsible’. It will reach back into the Common Law definition of true governance, in which a chosen leadership commits to follow the principles of Universal law and order; to honouring a calling upon mankind to forever leave behind the political deceit which dogs the world today and ensure that unselfish wisdom triumphs over self-centred personal ambition.
If the leadership of tomorrow is to be an organic form of evolutionary advancement on the best of the past, then it has nowhere else to go other than onwards and upwards, as our natural vision and impulse gravitates towards the supreme consciousness of our Creator from whence we came.
We humans are, when we allow ourselves to be, the standard bearers of highest truth.
So far history has not produced an era motivated by ‘Veritocracy’, the pursuit of truth. But all that seems about to change. The March Hare has a spring in his step; the air is clearing; the light lucid and bright and the intoxicating cyclic rebirth of Spring is just around the corner.
All seems set to announce a special event in the lives of humankind: the supplanting of a decaying democracy by a commitment to the power of truth. A rising sun burning away the mists of deception to reveal a higher calling in the collective governance of the affairs of man.
So, please raise your glasses in a toast to ‘Veritocracy’!

The Last Battle For Humanity

Some are finally realizing that this may very well be the last battle for humanity. That the ‘control’ which people tout as the reasoning behind everything, was already had through generations of nudging and prodding so why the sudden rush? There is now a ‘deadline’ it would seem and the question for me is: why?
If anything can be learned from the history of our benevolent ‘rulers’, is that they don’t shoot for single outcomes; multi-layered operations are the ‘norm’ and naivete and ignorance are their greatest weapons.
How unprepared we are for this battle; having been divided and conditioned over generations, to accept the life of serfdom or ‘slavery lite’ as ‘the best system in the world’ and as the only way to ‘live’.
Now, we get to experience the turning of the governments of the world against their peoples and with that, half, or more of the general public against themselves. To bear witness to the sheer ignorance and abject stupidity required to move this operation forward is disheartening, to say the least. As some put it: ‘The greatest time to be alive’.
To say that we have been ‘dumbed down’ over the generations is an understatement if one simply compares the grade school tests of the early nineteen hundreds, with those of today. One could easily observe, in the last 50 years, that as the intellect of the aggregate population decreased, the consolidation, into fewer hands, of the ‘essentials’ of life, increased.
Realizing that all of humanity seems to have been part of the greatest ‘experiment’ in history, through generations, to bring us to where we are now, is a daunting and requires one to move forward and dig deep into ‘who’ they actually are. As I have mentioned before: Are we who we are born to be or who we are raised to be?
Have we become better human beings through the progression of our lives and propagated that forward or have we simply taught, generation after generation, how to better get money from one pocket into theirs?
The choice has always been ours.
It is through the lives, actions and acceptance (tacit or otherwise) of ‘good’ people which has created this moment in time, so apparently we might all have some ‘improving’ to do. Perhaps if we stopped concentrating on being seen as ‘good’ people, we could simply become better each day. People tend to forget that life is a journey rather than a destination or a competition.
It is not a difficult concept, that better people build better societies. And it should be self evident at this point that the human race is in a rut; spinning its wheels chasing other people’s tales which does not allow for actual ‘growth’ of our species nor at the individual level (can’t have the former without the latter).

Earth’s Ultimate War: A Battle to Control the Noosphere

You feel it, don’t you? There’s something deeply wrong with our world. And I don’t refer to the planet’s geosphere. I mean, there’s something deadly wrong with society overall and the ways in which we interact and react. Something is coming, and many understand what it is.
Quote:
“We are like people under [a] sentence of death, waiting for the date to be set. We sense that something is about to happen. We know that things cannot go on as they are. History has reached an impasse. We are now on a collision course. Something is about to give.” – Reverend Billy Graham
A few years ago, I wrote a report on NEO entitled “Vladimir Putin’s Third Way: As Seen Through the Nooscope.” The piece covered Mr. Putin’s “Third Way” of governance and a stunning invention by his now chief of staff, Anton Vaino. The invention, the Nooscope was reportedly a device capable of measuring the noosphere, or the highest stage of biospheric development, that of humankind’s rational activities. And through the measurement of humanity’s activities, along with the use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI), the Russian leadership seemed to be seeking a new order, not simply of which countries have a say so, but a system that could elevate humanity to its next logical level.
At first, the Western academic and journalistic communities exhibited acute curiosity mixed with tongue-in-cheek skepticism, such as is always leveled at Russian ideas. Then, of course, a maze of misinterpretations and distractive propaganda campaigns buried Putin’s ideas and the probability that our collective consciousness and energy can be measured for good. Sure, Google, Amazon, and a hundred other entities powered by Big and Minute data operate such measurements for profit, day in and day out. But those pesky Russians using advanced thinking and algorithms to fix humanity’s woes! This kind of idea had to be branded ridiculous propaganda. But is it?
Let’s remember that it was Plato who predicted that Noocracy was humanity’s future political system. The philosopher also claimed that Democracy (“the authority of the crowd”) and other forms of governance would eventually be replaced by a system such as that Vladimir Putin has suggested. So-called “Russia experts” scoff at the noosphere as a part of Russian Cosmism. However, a Rand Corporation report in 2020 acknowledge the developing noosphere and made recommendations for the United States to consider adapting the U.S. grand strategy to the information age—noopolitik, which favors the use of “soft power”—as a successor to realpolitik, with its emphasis on “hard power.” So, the bastardization of Mr. Putin’s “Third Way” concepts by the likes of the Brookings Institute and authors Clifford G. Gaddy and Barry W. Ickes (2009),
The theories of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and Édouard Le Roy, who were the practical co-founders of the noosphere, in the early 1900s dealt with a noosphere wrapping Earth as a progression of the teleological character of evolution. Or, for lack of a better description, a result of an overarching “goal-directed evolution.”
