Later that year Elizabeth Schurig became the lawyer for Alex and Kelly Jones (taking over from David Sewell). The relationship between Alex and his lawyer is closer than I would expect.

In November 2007, Schurig for her client Alex Jones founded: Jones Productions LLC; Prison Planet TV LLC; Jones Report LLC; and Infowars LLC.

Alex Jones claims that he became a conspiracy theorist at a young age because he was stopped by some crooked cop, and by becoming a fan of the John Birch Society (JBS). John Birch himself worked for the OSS (the predecessor of the CIA).
The John Birch Society supported the Cold War with Communism. During the 1990s and especially after 9/11 they became a giant supporter of the War on terror.

Alex Jones that from a very young age was introduced to the conspiracy theories of the John Birch Society.
He was indoctrinated by neighbours that were members of the JBS, starting at around age two.
He also repeatedly read “None Dare Call it Conspiracy” by Gary Allen of the John Birch Society.

John Birch Society member Spruille Braden, was also a member of the CFR and a paid lobbyist for the drug trafficking United Fruit Company, which was used to force regime change in Nicaragua in 1954.

Alex Jones has repeatedly admitted, for example on his radio show in 2014, that in the 1980s his father (David Jones) and other family members worked for the CIA.

Verna Grayce Chao and Buckley S. Hamman are children of William Forrest “Biff” Hamman, the brother of Alex Jones’ mother Carol Gretchen Hamman. Buckley Hamman is employed as a producer and reporter for Infowars.
During the early to mid 1980s, William Hamman worked for the CIA and US Army Special Forces in Guatemala City. Alex Jones once compared uncle William to the drug trafficking, money laundering and terrorist supporting Oliver North:
