What if the Earth is vaguely spherical, but it is actually far larger than we are told? What if the whole of what we are told is "The Earth" is actually just a section of a much larger planet? I think that conning people into believing this would be very easy, if this was the case.
So when someone goes "around the world", they’re really circling around the North Pole, as per the flat earth model. The "South Pole" is really the circumference of our "zoo", again as per the flat earth. But then the earth continues past that, with a much larger diameter than we’ve been told.
Seeing as the curvature would be so tiny in such a zoo, it would be easy to get some people to believe it is flat. And through "science", others believe it’s a (small) sphere. What if the truth is actually between these two extremes?
This may be utter nonsense, of course. I don’t know if there’s any practical way I could investigate this.
Hi Rob...
You may want to check out the Convex Earth Documentary as it does throw up some interesting theories based on scientific research
