Isabel Maxwell could very well be the most interesting of the children of media mogul, British Intelligence agent and Chabad-Lubavitcher Robert Maxwell’s children.
Isabel Maxwell’s company CommTouch was an “obscure software developer”, until for some reason in July 1999 a massive investment from Vulcan Ventures Inc. and Go2Net Inc of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen was announced.
It was only for this reason that the CommTouch IPO became a massive success.
It’s not clear why Paul Allen came to the rescue of CommTouch’s IPO. Allen later became member of an exclusive online community started in 2004 called “Small World”, whose members included such luminaries as Jeffrey Epstein, Lynn Forester de Rothschild and Petrina Khashoggi (the daughter of arms salesman Adnan Khashoggi). Small World’s largest shareholder was the business partner of Epstein, Harvey Weinstein.
In December 1999, Microsoft acquired 4.7% of stock in CommTouch (for $20 million). When this was announced CommTouch stock prices rose from $11.63 to $49.13 in only a few hours.
Richard Sorkin, who had recently been appointed CommTouch director, played a role in finalising this deal. In one of those strange coincidences, Richard Sorkin became a multimillionaire through the sale of Zip2, Elon Musk’s first company where Sorkin was CEO.
According to a 2000 The Guardian article, even Bill Gates himself invested in CommTouch.

While Isabel Maxwell remained honorary president, CommTouch added the son of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir, Yair Shamir, to its board of directors.
Yair Shamir had previously managed Scitex at a time that it was owned by Robert Maxwell.
After nearly collapsing a few years later, CommTouch was renamed as Cyren Ltd. and runs in the background of Microsoft, Google, Intel, McAfee and Dell products: http://thealtworld.com/whitney_webb/isab...con-valley

The following article insinuates that Bill Gates controls the media through more than $250 million in nearly twenty thousand grants from the Gates Foundation to the media.
Recipients include: the BBC, NBC, Al Jazeera, ProPublica, National Journal, The Guardian, Univision, Medium, the Financial Times, The Atlantic, the Texas Tribune, Gannett, Washington Monthly, Le Monde, and the Center for Investigative Reporting.
Other recipients were “charities” affiliated with media companies, like BBC Media Action and the New York Times’ Neediest Cases Fund.
Also journalistic organisations as the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, the National Press Foundation, and the International Center for Journalists received money from the “philanthropic” Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Some of the funds were funnelled through to other recipients to obscure the full picture of Gates’ funding of our wonderful press: https://www.cjr.org/criticism/gates-foun...unding.php
