Who has managed to start a community locally where they support each other with their own wares and labour instead of using money.
There has been several different factions where they came together to grow food and trade their surpluses for a common need.
Then after an initial period they tend to go quiet, this may be due to a lack of courses or not enough real life skills and ideas in house.
Here we setup a growing food together group, the only problem was, most failed to work together and actually went their own ways, even though the social contract encouraged bringing people together, eventually most looked on as others did most of the hard work, right now it ihas turned into an all for one and a few have set up to make money from growing fruit trees and other things that were against the rules of the community.
It seems as if people have no ideas of how to create any true alternatives and sit close to their mobile phones even though they live only a few metres away, some have a plot but rarely work it and holiday abroad for months at a time and leave their plots to grow wild.
In Russia today there are hundreds of villages that lay empty and others with a few older residents left to make ends meet, maybe Russia might be an option for younger couples to gather and create superb forest gardens that are nestled withing primary woodland, Russia is a huge place and has many opportunities for those looking for adventure.
There are rules that say you can claim and abandoned dwelling and if no close relatives make a counter claim the property can then be purchased through the government, there are lots of videos on the internet where people have come together for a common need and making good headway.
