At this moment, cities around the world are transformed into "smart cities", where there is no hiding place from the surveillance state. All to make our live so much better of course!

The infamous Word Economic Forum has started a pilot project to make 36 cities around the globe "smart". In a great example of "transparancy" not much is known about what is actually done with mysterious "white boxes"?

Apeldoorn is the first city in the Netherlands to start its WEF smart city project through a "secret agreement" with the Austrian company RadioLED that has rolled out a 5G network in Apeldoorn.
The project is run by RadioLED, and some Apeldoorn citizens are concerned about the thousands of square white boxes that have been installed on lampposts accross their city. The cost so far is 1.7 million euros, paid for by RadioLED?

The Dutch Paul Polman was an executive at both Nestlé and Procter & Gamble before becoming Unilever CEO (2009-2018), he is also a Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
Polman studied at the University of Groningen (where else?) and joined the Vindicat atque Polit corps, graduating in 1977.
